It's so hard to do and I think you would have to split pop songs, rock songs, and hip hop/rap/r&b but Everlong has to be up there. Under the Bridge has to be up there. The entire Bends and OK Computer cds are up there. Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins. "A Long December" by Counting Crows.

Couldn't agree more, dude. I sometimes wonder what would have come next after the "Use Your Illusion" records since they were damn good. In fact, "Use Your Illusion II" is one of my favorite records of the 90s.

            "The Spaghetti Incident."

It proved the talent in the band was actually Izzy Stradlin, not Axl nor Slash nor Duff nor the four thousand other guys they played with, like that Rockstar: Supernova goofball. Which reminds me - the JuJu Hounds albums were unjustly ignored. They were solid Faces-style rock, perfect for playing pool and drinking Beam.

I had a long post typed out detailing why What's The Story Morning Glory is better, but I just went and listened to the one track I thought I disliked on Definitely Maybe, Columbia, and it totally rocks!

So thank you for bringing this up, because I now officially know that Definitely Maybe is the equal to What's the Story. Both are absolutely phenomenal records, and some of my favorite ever. There are, however, differences between the two. The biggest I can think of is Definitely Maybe has a rawer, grungier guitar permeating throughout the album. What's the Story has a more refined, polished guitar. I wouldn't say one is better over the other, just different.

By the way, I think "Hey Now" on What's the Story could be the best song on both albums. Totally underrated song. The final bridge in that song just gives me the chills because of the mind-boggling, insanity inducing, frenetic paced dueling electric guitars that provide the "epic" touch the song creates.

I meant if they put out another original album with the Rose-Slash-Stradlin-McKagan-Sorum lineup, which I think was the band's best. "Spaghetti Incident" was a throw-away of covers, as you well know.

Izzy was a great song writer, but I think you are really off! that is all I have to say. I know what you mean, but can't agree with that!

Yep, Izzy, Rose and Slash were great together. And great song writers too. use your illusion was my favorite albums in the 90's. Man if they could have all got along I can only imagine how awesome those albums would be! I mean I remember when those albums came out. I think it was one first and then the second one one week later. I remember the record store had a big line out side.

Just trying to help. A phenomenal band like Toad doesn't need to be any way associated with lameass one-hit wonders like Deep Blue Something.

When I think 90's I think of three songs: Pistol Grip Pump (Volume 10), End of the Road (Boyz II Men), and Policy of Truth (Depeche Mode)
