I think my receiver can only do 5.1 so I guess I'm fine. When I get my optical splitter next week I'm certain it will sound better than the composite cables I'm currently using. My TV only has one HDMI port and buying an optical splitter (already have two in use on my receiver) and using component cables for the video was much cheaper than buying an HDMI splitter and cables. Thanks.

Did anyone pick up Dawn of the Dead on HD-DVD? I'm thinking of picking that up after work, I don't own the movie in any format and sounds like my best option

I have it at home, came with Heroes yesterday from Amazon, didn't watch it yet though.

Man, the Blu Ray looks like it has the better titles. It looks like a stellar deal for the PS3.

I had to step away from the computer. I thought I had already decided on the Xbox 360, but then I started looking at the Blu Ray line up and it looks alot better than the HD lineup and I heard that Blockbuster carries the Blu Ray in the store and will not ever have physical copies of the HD. If the PS3 had decent games, I would have it in a heartbeat. I am afraid that they are going to be the red headed step child of this gaming generation.

Dawn + Heroes arrived today............reading some of the reviews, it seems like a solid HD-DVD. Nowhere near as good as the original Dawn, but a good movie.

Thanks Slayer, Amazon yanked this one already this afternoon. I'm not too sure if the Bluray one has been yanked yet either. I missed out, hopefully it returns. LOL!

Well, Dreamworks is part of Paramount, but you are correct.
