I just read The Rosary Girls and I plan on reading Blood and Chocolate

I'd recommend The Kite Runner to anyone.

I tried reading Kite Runner, but it just didn't do it for me. I just could not get into it.

I'm a little different when it comes to reading. I usually am reading 2-3 books at the same time. I read one at home, one on the train to work and usually a baseball book when the mood strikes me. Currently my 3 books are:

Game of Thrones - George RR Martin
        Red Rabbit - Tom Clancy
License to Deal - Jerry Crasnick
        Sim Gaming Network

That is a good book. I'm currently reading Generation Kill by Evan Wright
Boston Red Sox 2004, 2007 World Series Champions

Nomar's homer off Pedro. Those four words just shouldn't go together. Not even on a day like 6/6/6. ~Bill Simmons

              Plato The Republic

              Aristotle The politics

Both for my 206 Intro to Western Political Theory class, both books that I'm not liking that much so far.

The Washington Diaries: 1981-1989 by Allan Gotlieb

This is the published diaries of the Canadian Ambassador to the US during that time. The book can be a bit dry but it does give you a great insight into what it's like trying to sell and represent a country that doesn't get that much attention from Americans and the politicians that run the nation as well.

Which is a shame because Canada does have a lot of importance when you look at where it's situated and the natural resources it has.

Very interesting book, at least to me

I had to read that last year. Not bad, and very short.

I had to read that too last year. Probably would have been good just to read, but not when you have to annotate every page and write essays about it.

Let us know how you like the Michael Lewis book. I loved Moneyball, I am interested if Evolution of a Game is as insightful.

Dook I read a post on a Niners blog about the book. There's going to be some surprises your way. Jerry doesn't hold back but it's not the classic tell all book. Let us or at least me know what you think of it when you're done reading it.

He doesn't really speak highly of the Niners these days either.

                                Wonder what the surprises are?
