no 4G iPhone until 2012 per AT&T at today's CES press conference. Ouch.

I guess this doesn't look good for an LTE iPhone for Verizon this year. I can see many iPhone users jumping ship to android to take advantage of the much faster data speeds.

That should never have been expected. Apple doesn't adopt tech. such as that until it is ready for primetime.

Yes, but 4G is so thin, you are lucky to even get it 25% of the time.

WiFi is still mainly used for the "speed" option on most smart phones.

Are iPhone 4's still $400 if you have a contract with AT&T, but not eligible for an upgrade yet?

That announcement seems a bit misleading. The iPhone has been "4G" ready since the iPhone 3GS.

I missed class two days in a row because of that. I thought that one of the workarounds fixed it but it didn't do anything.

I did that yesterday and it still didn't work. I tested it this morning and that didn't fix it.

You sure you set it as a repeating alarm?

I just set two: one for 3:31pm, repeating every day, and one for 3:33pm, repeating every Thursday and they went off without a hitch.

Since the 3rd they all work now, repeating or non, on both our phones (3Gs and 4G) OS 4.2.1 (current)

Yeah I did but I just tested the alarm and it works now.

I'm going to go pick up and iphone 4 for my self in the next hour (finally going to retire my motorola krazer). What should I get 16gb or 32gb ???

Any QUICK help would me much appreciated !!

Since you'll be locked in for 2 years, get 32gb.

You can't go wrong with the extra space if you end up utilizing it. Plus, resale value will be higher.

I got a 32GB 3Gs, and I have had it for over a year, and barely used half of it, maybe a third. For the price difference I am going to get a 16GB next time... and my GF got the 16GB due to the same thing. It can still hold a ton of stuff.

But everyone's needs are different.

It's actually a 3 year contract.......

Or do you mean 2 years until I can upgrade it ?? (You guys are in the States....I'm not)

Either way, it's $ 100 more up here for the 32 gb
