    Yeah works wonders in my car cause I have all kinds of different playlists, so instead of trying to change it manually I can just hold the home button down and say "play playlist car",etc.

                        New to the iphone (well my wife is anyway )
                        Are you allowed to DL purchased apps onto 2 Iphones? She just got an iphone and I wanted to test a few apps before I get mine. Will I have to pay for them again when I get my phone?

                                But now I have a few more questions.

                                It looks like the bottome line is; Set my wife up wth her own itunes account. I have an itunes account but it's for my daughters ipod touch. (that she recently lost)

                                We use the same PC but we have different log-ins. I imagine we shouldn't have a problem with apps and music crossing over to each other's devices as long as we hook up our devices to their respective user log in, no?

                                Or should I just bypass the PC altogether and set up the account over her iphone using our wifi network? From what it looks like I don't want to have the issues of mixed syncing of music and apps. Our tastes are far different.

                                My daughter has a bunch of crap apps and music (imo lol) DL'ed from her (my) itunes account. Is it possible to clean that up and delete some of the garbage she Dl'ed? Now that she no longer has her ipod I'd like to resume control over that account.

                                    Apps and music will be fine as long as they are located in the same physical space on the computer.

                                    Just have to use the same iTunes account. You'll be able to select what you like/don't like.

                                    Think of itunes as a management system. You have your stuff in one physical place and iTunes just points to that area. If you move it, you're screwed unless you do this whole big thing that I wouldn't be able to explain without going into a ridiculous amount of detail.

                                    Just keep the push notification thing in mind - it may get strange if your daughter is using the same weather app and you both have push notifications going on...
