I feel like such a tool for doing this, but I'm going to go get in line early at my local AT&T store tomorrow to get one of these. I called them today and asked if they had any idea how many people would be lining up for this thing or if they had a recommendation about how early I need to get there, and she said 3-4 hours before should be safe. So, I will see 4:00 AM for the first time in a loooong time.

was thinking about getting the Iphone 4 now that it's only $99. I have a 3G so it's been a while since i upgraded. Convince me why I should get the 4s for another $100?

Get the 4s over the 4 because at least the antenna issue is fixed. I have the 4.

I've had the 4 for over a year and have never ever had an issue with the antenna.

Saw a new feature. If you are reading a site that has an article, up in the URL box there is now a button that will pop up that says READER. It will basically make any article into a mobile format so the font enlarges and gets rid of all the picture.

Same here. No antennae issues for me.

I've gone back to using Safari as my default web browser, again. Mainly due to holding links not working on Dolphin, but also because I found out you can open links in the background on Safari.

I finally have everything working correctly but my music. It's all over the place in my library. Looks fine in itunes, load it on my iphone or ipad and it's a disaster.

I wish I could get iOS5 on my iPhone, my damn PC has been out of commission since yesterday so I can't get it connected to my itunes.

Some haven't experienced any but some definitely have. That was already established back when the 4 launched. The new antenna design in the 4s should eliminate the problem altogether.

So, my suggestion still stands. Don't buy the 4, get the 4s.

I finally have everything working correctly but my music. It's all over the place in my library. Looks fine in itunes, load it on my iphone or ipad and it's a disaster.

Same for me. The whole checked and unchecked songs things does nothing for me.

I thought you could check songs in your library, hit sync and it sync up.

For me I go to the phone screen in Itunes, go to music tab, then it gives me a list of every artist. I then select which artist, but I can't choose individual songs. It does break it down to albums. I have also corrected artist and titles in iTunes and it won't sync over to my phone.

I did, and it runs MARVELOUS!

Way better than 4.3.5 did... so much better!

Loving the features, and actually might make me hold off on the 4s

Then people are doing something wrong.

I am being honest. I have a 32GB 3Gs that was replaced from my original 3Gs this past February.

iOS5 runs stellar. Much smoother overall than 4.3.5, and loving the new features.

Here is one benchmark.

3Gs with 4.2.1 = 13,580
3Gs with 5.0 = 5,785

Went from the second slowest to the middle of the pack.
