64 GB Silver pre-ordered at Best Buy. Switching from AT&T to Verizon. Will be trading in my current 5, as of today the amount I can get from them is $225, not bad. They also said that they would "most likely" be having a trade-in promo next Friday, as well.

I am guessing you preordered the 6 and not the 6 Plus? I am wondering if the 6 Plus is going to be too big. I'll probably still go with the 6 Plus, if it's too big I can always return it.

I never thought about checking Target. Radio Shack said they aren't taking preorders for iPhone 6 Plus yet, maybe tomorrow.

If I order from Apple, when is my card charged? Best Buy put my name down and may get in a Plus next week, so I would want to cancel with Apple.

Yeah, I went with the 6. I couldn't justify paying more or getting less storage if I went with the 6 Plus. The larger screen, extended battery and the image stabilization aren't must-haves for me.

Print this (make sure to not select a "fit to page" option), and then cut them out for an idea on sizes. Won't give you the full idea (ie. weight), but it's enough to tell for screen size.

Need to be eligible for an upgrade.

At this point, I ask a practical question: How is anyone with a 5c and 5s (which they say you can trade in in all the promos and tech sites) eligible to upgrade AS THEY ONLY CAME OUT 1 YEAR AGO?!?!?

I just wasn't impressed. No doubt both the 6 and the 6 Plus will be great phones, and I loved my iPhone 4 and 3GS models, but the big features Apple announced have all been on Android for years.



Apple Pay? The Nexus 4 had NFC payments back in 2012. And on top of that, a 4.7 inch screen on the iPhone 6 is smaller than the HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z3, and other flagship Android phones which are all around 5 inches. Not to mention the screen resolution on the 6 is only 750p, whereas the flagship Android phones are at least 1080p and sometimes higher. And the camera is still only 8mp, whereas most Android flagships sport at least 13mp (the HTC One M8 is the big exception, with a pitiful 4mp).



On top of all that, the leaked iPhone 6 bench marks show the phone to only have 1 gig of ram and a dual core processor, which are both half the 2+ gigs of ram and quad+ processors of the top Android phones.



The iPhone does offer way more on-board storage, and that's a huge plus. But it doesn't have a micro-SD card slot, which on the Android flagships allows you to add up to 128gb of additional storage.



I have no doubt that the new iPhones will be great. iOS is a fantastic operating system, Apple's app ecosystem is amazing, and Apple has yet to release a bad phone. But I still can't help but feel underwhelmed by this unveiling. I'm in the market for a new phone, and I thought I might go Apple, but now I have a tough choice to make.

You nailed it. I have an iPhone 5 and I'm not impressed at all. It's practically almost the same phone just with a bigger screen. That's disappointing to me and the screen resolution isn't even that great on the iPhone 6 and the plus seems too big. After being iPhone for so many years I think I'm jumping ship.

From Sprint and and my latest update says Sprint will try to ship for 19th delivery.

I checked my upgrade eligibility online yesterday morning and it said I was eligible. Went to the ATT store at lunch and the system kept crashing. Came back at the end of the work day only to be told I was only eligible for an ATT Next upgrade (pay $20+ a month for the phone for 20-something months). Once I looked at my receipt and saw that the phone was $699 under this plan I called this morning and cancelled. The damn thing wouldn't have shipped till 10/13-10/31 and I'm eligible for an upgrade 11/23. I'd rather wait and save $500

got up at 7am this past Friday, logged on to my account. upgraded my phone as well as my wife. took 4 mins total, getting them on release. space gray iphone 6 64gb.

i wanted the gold, but realized it had a white faceplate. i didnt like that. so space gray for me.

Yeah, I can get a 6 no problem, but I think I want the Plus, still not sure so I haven't ordered one.

i have been messing around with a buds note 3.. i love the screen size etc, but just in general too bulky for my liking on a day to day basis IMO. the iphone 6 plus will be a tad longer as well. bah.. lol

Yeah, and I don't get why it's larger, as the Note's screen size is .2 inches bigger. Maybe the iPhone has bigger speakers. It is thinner than the Note, at least.

Have the 5s and I don't see anything that would make me even consider switching. The 5s is literally a perfect fit for my hand so anything bigger would require two hands which is something I don't want.

I would personally like to see a iPhone with more Ram and better battery life.

You guys are in for a treat if you have both an iPhone and iPad or MacBook.

Handoff is better than anything else out there on Android. Gone are the days of having to use AirDroid for this sort of thing.

And the ability to make calls off my iPad while my iPhone sits on my desk - genius.

iOS8 wasn't too impressive for me early on because these features were not stable in the early betas. When iOS8 releases Wednesday, you'll be able to enjoy these features on your devices NOW.

The 6 is just going to be icing on the cake.

Wonder how many people who bought a plus are going to regret buying a phone that size. Ridiculous.
