32gb is A LOT of space. I don't put all of my music on my iPhone. The apps don't take up very much space at all really. With the 3GS having a video camera that may take up a little more space, but pics don't take up that much space either. I don't think you are gonna have any problems, at least from the get go, with enough space. If you are talking about having 8gb free, then you are golden. I only have an 8gb 2G right now, and I've not even used half of the capacity. I think I have 5.1gb free. I have about 450 songs, about 200 pics, and about 20-25 apps.

I think I'm gonna get a 16gb 3GS, basically for the GPS and because there is a problem with me being able to hear someone on the phone, it is not loud anymore. I think my lady-friend eff'd it up.

That might be a hoax, all Iphones get super hot especially if plugged into the wall.

I was going to wait for the 3gs to be jailbroken before i bought it but my original 2g iphone is on its last legs. Im just gonna go ahead and buy it, before apple tries to patch it or update it making it impossible to be jailbroken.

I just hope the Dev team doesn't take too long to release it.

The pictures from the french site might be, but pc world and a few other sites have confirmed it gets hot. All smartphones do it, but not to the extent to discolor the case.

Anybody testing out the 3.1 beta software?

There was a pleasant surprise when I find out that my bluetooth stereo headphones now control more than just volume. Now pausing music and the ability to use Voice Control with my headphones are now in. I couldn't do this with 3.0.

My original Iphone just broke on me. My fault. So i had to dish out cash for a new one. I got the 16gb 3Gs black for $400. I am pretty happy for it. Stupid att contract BS i could not get the upgrade price.

I use Tweetdeck and TwitterFon. I like them both, haven't decided which I'm going to stick with.

I was stuck between the same 2. I went with Tweetdeck and haven't looked back.

Sell the old one and offset the amount you paid for the 16G. There's a market for broke and working iPhones.

lol dang thats messed up, but thanks for ya input, and it sounds like I might not have a prob at all with space, I might have 450 songs on it, I might have more though when its all said and done (I'm trying to have it where I got mostly ALL of the music I listen to on there so when I'm gon or whatever I won't have them moments like "Dang I wish I had this cd or song right now I wanna listen to it so bad" like now I can probably name 20 cd's I want but don't have access to unfortunately lol.

But imma be new to the whole app scene, I only see probably 15 apps Imma d/l right away, all free (Facebook, Twitterfon (and probably Tweetie later when I get a gift card), etc.) That is til I get some gift cards, then I'll be getting some apps you have to buy, I can't wait to get my hands on a iphone tho finally Imma wait though but I will be getting one

I thought about that. It worked good, the side was just cracked water got in and i guess it just killed it.

Sync it one last time with iTunes and erase it before it goes to the buyer.


Edit: Wait, it doesn't work at all. Might not be able to do anything about the data on it. Probably best to keep it yourself if the data on it is sensitive.

about to jailbreak mine. Hopefully they get winterboard working as that doesn't work with the 3gs right now.

I haven't jailbroken in forever, but i remember how hard it was originally..***nning a million scripts, logging in as root, etc.
