I'm still on the fence. As you stated, the LTE makes the forums extremely fast. It is very comparable to my desktop.

The only issue I have is clicking on links. It is annoying to zoom in all the time.

Would tapatalk eliminate the need to zoom?

Yes. That's the reason I use Tapatalk. Because, yes, LTE is fast, but the desktop version of the forum is just not built with mobile devices in mind. It's the same for most websites (hence why they have special iPhone versions).

The buttons/links on OS are just too small to be usable via mobile Safari, so Tapatalk is the way to go.

Heh - I already knew I would be.

There are a lot of people who use it religiously on the forums. I still prefer the true desktop experience on the go. Plus there are some admin functions you can't do in TT....

It's only $3 so it would be worth investing to try it. For me, they were $3 wasted. Doesn't mean it's a bad program by any means.

Personally I would invest in Atomic Browser for $1, go full screen and enjoy.

Finally got mine delivered today. Upgrading from a 4. Enjoying it, definitely noticing the difference in performance.

Downside is I haven't been able to try the 4G LTE out because we don't have it yet in Phoenix, but it's supposed to come by the end of the year at least!

On the topic of Tapatalk, I used to use it all the time, great app. Only reason I deleted it is because I felt I was wasting entirely too much time on message boards, so I figured I would cut that out.

I splurged and downloaded Tapatalk ($3.21)

It's pretty neat and is clearly easier than browsing on Chrome. I think I'll get $3.21 out of the app.

Not really a huge fan of Tapatalk either.

I did try and use it on the iphone for a little while, but I almost always go through the browser now. If you use the double tap word wrap feature it really is pretty easy to zoom in and out when needed.

EDIT: Btw, nothing beats the old school OS mobile site. It was easy on the eyes and ahead of its time..

Speaking of which, that isn't still around, is it?

Yeah, they should have them. Even radioshacks even Austin have them..

Yes, they should have them, but depending on the city you may want to call in and make sure there not sold out.

Nope they didn't have the 5 in so I order one. It will be at my house in about 2 weeks. Hopefully sooner. My wife got a 4s today. She didn't want a 5.

I tried Atomic Browser and decided to keep it. Is there a way to make it the default browser, instead of having other apps open safari when pressing a link?
