Depends on when you bought the 4. If you bought it upon release and you don't have AppleCare, they won't replace it. If you bought it less than a year ago, they'll replace it no questions asked (since it's still under limited 1 year warranty).

When my 4s got replaced, it was under the 1 year warranty. They told me that the replacement only had a 90 day warranty on it.The 'loud-to-vibrate' button on my iPhone 4 isn't "clicking" it kind of feels jammed sometimes. This is a replacement iPhone 4 from the Apple Store after the original version's home button on top stopped working altogether. Would I be able to bring this in to the store and have it replaced yet again? I'm only asking because the Apple Store I'm talking about is about 45 minutes away from me and I don't wanna drive all the way there just to have them reject me...Comment

Re: iPhone Discussion Thread
Why is my iPhone 4s using 3G data while I am on WIFI? I am sitting here on my laptop connected to the same WIFI connection so I know the WIFI is working. There are no apps on my phone running and all location services etc.. are off except for mail push which should use the WIFI connection.
I need to figure this out because I am in Europe and I only get 120 MB of data a month. I reset my data before going to be and make sure nothing is running and I wake up I have used 10mb or so of data. What gives? Can I call Apple to get some answers? AT&T had no answers. They just said that your phone is connecting for data and we have to charge for that.
I know I can turn off cellular data but then I can't get text messages so that is not a great solution.Comment

Re: iPhone Discussion Thread
You only get a certain amount of storage free. So if you have a lot of stuff it's useless and you have to back it up to your PC anyways. Unless you pay for a bigger allotment of space.Just picked up my new 5 two days ago reluctantly. I went to a bootleg spot in brooklyn and loaded up on cases. Picked up like 4 for 20 bucks. They arent as cheap as I thought they would be judging from the shop. The best one is jet black and is oh so sexy with the phone.
My question is, the ATT lady told me to get on that iCloud to store my stuff. But Im completely ignorant when it comes to the iCloud.
Does it store everything you have in itunes so you can synch from anywhere? I ask because my old phone is synched to a laptop that Im not planning on having for much longer. is there a way I can iCloud store the stuff on that laptop to put on my phone?Comment

If you're using a windows computer, ctrl+S will make the old sidebar pop back up. It made things a lot more simple for me.
I think the new iTunes is trying too hard to make things easier, I personally liked the old layout.Comment
