Is the wait for the new iPhone killing anyone else? BTW, I talked to AT&T about my account and mentioned it, and they said $499 for a 8 GB $699 for a 16 GB ...most likely some stupid rep who knows nothing...

I highly expect the iPhone to be subsidized for AT&T customers...So you're looking at $200-$300 for the 8 GB & 16 GB I believe.

I am debating if I am going to upgrade to 2.0. I probably will. I wonder if I need to restore my phone first.

Yeah, I thought this would be obvious to everyone.

That damn program Intelliscreen just sold out. It's a pay app, with payment of $20 being required for some of the best features.

And get this... it will only work on a jailbroken phone.

So people crack the iPhones protection to offer free customization and software development on the device... only for a developer to charge $20 for a software with basically no guarantee it will work.

yeah, none of the jail broken software I have will work on 2.0

I expect most, if not all jailbroken apps, to be available once 2.0 rolls out.

Any they can be free.

I saw that. If they want to charge, they should just sell through the App store. I think it will be here on Monday. I imagine 2.0 will be cracked soon anyways. Irk me that they make it free then decide to charge after you are using it.

The dev can't provide it through the app store b/c it doesn't comply with Apple's policies.

He may be lying; Maybe he doesn't offer it that way because Apple won't allow variable pricing as he is offering, such as the $30 extra for support.

Dag, where are you getting a look at these games? I know you had said you got the dev kit, is that where you are seeing them?

Nevermind, checked out youtube and that game looks pretty cool. Tons of SDK videos out there. Can't wait until Monday

yeah, the games look 100x better than the free ones you get on installer. Guess they are using all the power of the phone.
