Finally watched the last three episodes and I really enjoyed the series (a shame that it's already a "series" and not a season
).
Lot of deep stuff going on in that last episode, especially the "Mother of God Cass Kai" at the very end.

The one ironic thing about this is it's why I often never give new shows a chance, i'm afraid i'll like them and they'll go away. So the more these networks cancel stuff, the more their ratings will continue to go downhill is my opinion. Man, I really didn't see it coming (since I don't really pay attention to what ratings a show is getting). This sucks, I really loved that show. They better not cancel Flight of the Conchords!PS: You guys are great.

I think it clears the show up pretty well and was in line with what I was thinking (and what trobinson echoed earlier). I never watched 'Deadwood', which was also prematurely shelved, but I'm pretty upset that HBO won't continue with this show (and stunned that Milch isn't pissed off and will continue working with them). The way I see it is an audience of five million is five million guaranteed subscribers. Just put an hour of JFC in wherever, as opposed the the upteenth re-airing of 'Batman Begins' or whatever "Movie of the Week".Tavis: "John From Cincinnati." And the title comes from?

Amen man. Its really sad how some great shoaws get canned. It's good to see the creator's intent, and makes me more interested the show. I couldn't get into this show, so no big loss to me. Only show now left on HBO that my wife and I watch is Big Love. Big Love started out good this season, but the last 2 episodes have been somewhat blah! I was reading rumors today that DEADWOOD might be coming back now that this was cancelled.Comment

Well what's really interesting is all the lines about the "towel heads" being eradicated. I thought it was all post-9/11 paranoia, and yet it seems that it held deeper context (i.e. "radical Islam" taking over the planet and such). A bit un-PC, but still relevant especially from the right wing Christian worldview of a partial deity.
Why else would God want himself to be known? You can only assume that future seasons might address an attempt to STOP the impending annihalation and John intervening there.

Friggin love Big Love man, it's one of the few shows my wife and I have in common. I thought the second season started off "blah" and has been getting better over the past several episodes lol.PS: You guys are great.
