Just saw it and my girl and I both felt sick. Could have been the popcorn though.

I'm only saying that's the backwards version. The forwards version says otherwise.

It wasn't the popcorn. This was that non stedi cam effect. I can't tell you how many people I've either run across or read about getting sick, disoriented or puking as a result of all of the jagged shaking.

They really need a medium for this in the next on.

Yeah before it started a manager came to the front of the theatre and issued a warning that the shaky camera may cause nausea. According to him 6 people got physically ill on opening night, it didn't phase me or Mrs. MassNole at all.

I thought about it more and remembered that this happened to me one other time. I felt nauseous watching the Bourne Supremacy at the theaters and director Paul Greengrass loves to use the shaky cam during fight scenes. Funny thing is I've watched Supremacy 3 times at home and never felt sick. Maybe it has to do with watching on the big screen.

                        That sounds reasonable.

I figure with the theater your eyes have to dart around the screen trying to take in everything.

Maybe you guys having nausea should get there early and sit in the way back?

That's probably a good idea. Like I said, if you try too hard to focus on one thing during those "shaky" scenes, I can see where it could maybe make you sick. That said, I didn't do that (and just looked at the center or the broad areas in general, anyway), and I felt fine both times I saw the movie.

I think ya'll are just a bunch of big babies.

It's different to me. That shaky stuff is sort of irritating when it goes beyond shaking for realism to the point its hard to see what the heck is happening on the screen. I've never gotten sick though myself.

blzer, I'd call it a bit of a stretch to callpeople babies when its been such a widespread report of this happening alot.
