I'm only saying that's the backwards version. The forwards version says otherwise.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer - "Cloverfield"
It wasn't the popcorn. This was that non stedi cam effect. I can't tell you how many people I've either run across or read about getting sick, disoriented or puking as a result of all of the jagged shaking.
They really need a medium for this in the next on.
Spoilerand I agree, i think that backwards stuff is all bull. More viral marketingComment

My girl was getting nauseated, they even had a warning at the entrance of the theater that you can get sick. Good movie thoIt wasn't the popcorn. This was that non stedi cam effect. Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer - "Cloverfield"
Yeah before it started a manager came to the front of the theatre and issued a warning that the shaky camera may cause nausea. According to him 6 people got physically ill on opening night, it didn't phase me or Mrs. MassNole at all.Comment

Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer - "Cloverfield"
I thought about it more and remembered that this happened to me one other time. I felt nauseous watching the Bourne Supremacy at the theaters and director Paul Greengrass loves to use the shaky cam during fight scenes. Funny thing is I've watched Supremacy 3 times at home and never felt sick. Maybe it has to do with watching on the big screen. It wasn't the popcorn. This was that non stedi cam effect. That sounds reasonable.I thought about it more and remembered that this happened to me one other time. I felt nauseous watching the Bourne Supremacy at the theaters and director Paul Greengrass loves to use the shaky cam during fight scenes. Funny thing is I've watched Supremacy 3 times at home and never felt sick. Maybe it has to do with watching on the big screen.
I figure with the theater your eyes have to dart around the screen trying to take in everything.
Maybe you guys having nausea should get there early and sit in the way back?Comment

Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer - "Cloverfield"
That's probably a good idea. Like I said, if you try too hard to focus on one thing during those "shaky" scenes, I can see where it could maybe make you sick. That said, I didn't do that (and just looked at the center or the broad areas in general, anyway), and I felt fine both times I saw the movie.
I think ya'll are just a bunch of big babies.

Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer - "Cloverfield"
It's different to me. That shaky stuff is sort of irritating when it goes beyond shaking for realism to the point its hard to see what the heck is happening on the screen. I've never gotten sick though myself.I thought about it more and remembered that this happened to me one other time. I felt nauseous watching the Bourne Supremacy at the theaters and director Paul Greengrass loves to use the shaky cam during fight scenes. Funny thing is I've watched Supremacy 3 times at home and never felt sick. Maybe it has to do with watching on the big screen.
blzer, I'd call it a bit of a stretch to callpeople babies when its been such a widespread report of this happening alot.Comment

"Help Me" backwards is Em Pleh. Not "It's still alive." Might want to go back and check that little fact again.
