...on another note, I was thinking about the timeloop theory and one thing that I had a hang up with was how Alex had aged. I finally realized that isn't an issue with the theory because the guy stated that the Ben didn't go back and initiate the timeloop until 2005. Russo crashed on the island in 1988, so Alex would have aged normally from 1988 to 2005 making her 17, and then the timeloop was initiated. There are still some other questions unanswered, but I don't think this is one.

The flashforwards are clearly not in order.

Sayids flashforward to the golf course was after his stitching up by Ben in the vet clinic. The guy who came up to him on the course clearly knew he was an assassin as soon as he told him he was part of the Oceanic 6.

Who is Ben working with on the outside? He clearly has had vast resources for quite some time. I am sure he is battling the Hanso organization.

But by now, Hanso/Dharma knows something has gone very wrong with the experiment. It would seem that if this island is that important to them, they would throw some resources at trying to figure out exactly what has happened there. Most likely that is where the chopper came from and when info gets back to them exactly what is going on at the island, I would imagine that ALOT of more resources will be thrown at the problem.

The thing that doesn't make a whole lot of sense though is that there were those Dharma food drops that would indicate that Dharma knows how to find the island. I got the impression that the hatch that Desmond blew up was making it invisible to the outside world and now that the magnectic engine is destroyed, the island should be visible to everyone.

I disagree, the flashforwards for each person is in order. I believe he acted like that because he was a memeber of the coverup team not because he knew Sayid was an assassin.

Ya know, the fact that Richard hasn't aged but Alex has not really confuses the hell out of me.

Think it has anything to do with their "connection" to the island?

So why does Sayid want to kill the coverup team? If anything, doesn't a coverup help Ben's agenda and Sayid is getting his direction from Ben.

Who do you think the coverup team is? I would think that Ben's outside contacts would have done the coverup. I also think The Hanso group is the one with the bald guy that visited Hurley in the institution who is trying to figure out if the others are still alive.

The guy wasn't only afraid of Sayid because he was an assassin. He was afraid because he was a member of the Oceanic 6.

And for whatever reason Sayid had for killing him had something to do with the man's ties to the situation in the Island.

I actually think that's the only reason the guy was afraid, I don't think he knew that Sayid was an assassin. He knew it wasn't good that he had bumped into a member of the Oceanic 6, but I don't think he expected to be murdered.

If he knew Sayid was an assassin, the moment Sayid told him his name I think the guy woulda freaked out and tried to bolt.

Yea, I originally didn't have the "only" in there but went back in and edited it because I thought that maybe the guy knows that members of the Oceanic 6 might be after him and the rest of his people.

Kinda like we're both right. He didn't know Sayid was an assassin but he knew that it wasn't good that he was a member of the Oceanic 6.

I don't know, he got a little uneasy like he was trying to plot his next move, but he really couldn't think of anything.

You guys might be right, but I think it took him a little while to put 2 + 2 together. The way I looked at it was for whatever reason he knew the Oceanic 6 was going to try to kill him. And I think it happened after Sayid got bandaged up by Ben because the conversation was Sayid saying, but now they know we're looking for them. And Ben was pleased by this.

The cops and other people weren't afraid of Hurley when he was screaming he was a member of the Oceanic 6.

Hopefully we find out more on Thursday.
