Good point. Completely forgot about that.

I guess Sayid would be the obvious answer then.... but, doesn't anyone else feel that's a little too obvious.

I just see Sayid getting killed out of nowhere. I love his character... but I don't know why but I don't see him getting off.

I think Ben doesn't make it out of this season. His character was only a 2 or 3 episode character. He has been a great fill in, but sooner or later he will die, or get taken off the island. How do we now that more than six will not make it off and that Ben or Juliette will be hidden on the freighter from everyone else.

Any speculation as to who the "man on the boat" is? I really think it might be Michael, but that leaves two questions. One, why would Michael help Ben? And two, where's Walt? Is he actually physically on the island talking to Locke, like when he appeared above him after he'd been shot? Or is he "on" the island just like Kate's horse, and Eko's brother, etc.

My biggest question right now is about the staging of the crash. Everything underwater that they showed last night was staged. They said they were showing the cockpit and the pilot, but we saw the cockpit up in a tree on the island. So did they stage the whole crash to put people on that island? They're looking for Ben, who doesn't want to be found, so they needed to put people on that island who wanted to be found and who would do things like disable the jamming system that Ben had installed. But why? If they can put people on the island to do things like that, they must know where the island is. What's the utility in staging the whole crash?

And like Sully said, why those four people? When they showed Dan's flashback of him seeing the underwater wreckage footage, why was he so profoundly affected by the sight? Did he immediately know that it connected to Ben? Was he involved with staging a crash that he knew must have killed a lot of people? The others don't really seem to have any qualifications to speak of, save for the pilot who was supposed to be piloting 815. Why them?

Now it seems like when Daniels from the Wire was talking to Hurley in the mental institution and he asked him "Are they still alive," he was likely talking about the members of his crew and not the survivors that they left there.

God I love this show....

The Oceanic 6 has to include names from people that were on the flight. If Kate is one of them, she can't be going by her real name or else she's thrown in jail. She has to be going by an assumed name, or she once again slipped by the authorities. Ben could easily pull this off as well. He's got the resources where he knows everyone's history. He's a master manipulator whose lies have tricked everyone he's met.

Ben's "man on the boat" is definitely Michael. Ben knew these people were coming, let Michael go because he knew he'd run into their freighter on the small boat him and Walt left on.

Now the question is, why does Michael side with Ben? Did Michael realize that he has nothing left in the "real world" like Locke, and like Ben was trying to convince Sawyer in this episode?

I didn't even think of Michael as being the guy on the boat.

I think the "lawyer" who visited Hurley at the funny farm and sent Naomi to the island is from Dharma. They want to get Ben because of what he did to the Dharma people on the island.

Do you think Sawyer (and many of the other Losties) are already regretting going with Locke?

Michael really has no choice but to do whatever Ben wants if he wants to take his boy home. He's already murdered two people and betrayed the Losties. I have a feeling the next time we see Walt, he'll look like Greg Oden.

I also thought that they want to get Ben for what he did. Either because they had family members there or because they are part of Dharma.

I think they are starting to get worried, but that is because they don't know what the people want. I think they will stop thinkin that after they learn more.

Remember Miles being a smartass to Sayid about not being surprised they're survivors of Flight 815? If it is Michael on the freighter that would explain why Miles wasn't surprised they're alive.

i like the theory of Michael on the boat. When he left he was just giving a coordinate to follow. ben could have known their was a boat in the area and sent Michael directly that way.

I said in an above post the same thing but I'm starting to wonder...

If Michael is on the boat, wouldn't Ben's orders be to make sure the frieghter never found the island? Why would Ben want them to find it? So he could kill them to eliminate the threat they pose? It doesn't seem to add up to Ben's frantic, "They cannot find this island! Do not radio them or we will all die!" Yet all along he wanted them to find the island?

Great theories. Michael on the boat makes sense, never thought of that. Crazy to think he has been trapped somewhere on a boat the whole time, and where the heck is Walt?
