I have more to say about this but I haven't finished thinking the whole thing out. The one thing I'm almost certain of involves Jin and Sun.

Paik Heavy Industries has a history working with the Hanso Foundation and the Widmore Corporation.

When all things boil over and Jack speaks to Hurley about their need to go back to the Island (because it's gotta be Jack that pushes this issue) he'll use Hurley's friendship with Sun to convince her of the same.

And I'm pretty certain that Sun, knowing that Jin is still on the Island, will find out something that will get her to push her father to help them in some way.

It'll take money to find the Island and Sun has connections to money and the Island. She's the only of the Oceanic 6 - outside of Hurley (and he probably does tap into his account) - that can get the money to find the Island. And Jin is the reason why she'll push for it. She'll want him home.

Why not contact Widmore? He's already found it once.

There must be a reason she was calling for Jin at the hospital and saying how she wished he was with her and could see their baby..... possibly he's still on the island and she wishes they were together.....

That entire argument could be used to say Jin is dead.

He very well could be.... I just meant it as it's not clear cut he's dead just because he has a grave.....

Jin's not dead. Who knows maybe the Oceanic 6 made up their story too soon, thought the others were whiped out but Jin made it through. Now if they go back on their story, evrything unravels. Don't know what the ramifications will be, but I have a feeling Jin is alive and working for Widmore to undermine Ben. A dramatic face-off between Jin and Sayid could ensue.

I still can't wait to see how they tie in the Ben and Sayid thing. I mean if Ben helped finance the Fake crash, how and why is Sayid going about killing the big executives. I am also curious to see when Ben planned the staging of the crash. Was it when he actually saw the plane go down, or when he found out who was on board? i need to start rewatching previous seasons and really do some clue hunting.

Sayid could get some info from Michael that would sway his way of thinking. The other thing I think is that with this whole time travel thing, they have said that you have to get back to a certain point at a certain time or this in the future will get altered. Somehow Ben is their doorway to get them to where they need to be.

I really don't like Ben's character its played out, he was only supposed to be there for a few episodes but now he's a major component of the story. Its rinse and repeat with his character....He does something heinous, they knock the crap out of him, he has a secret, they wonder what it could be, they release him to find out.......Ben does something heinous, they knock the crap out of him, he has a secret, they wonder what it could be, they release him to find out.......

How a guy who has apparantly unlimited sources of cash, well at least enough to stage an entire wreckage without the world knowing it was staged and enough hush money to keep it quiet but yet gets overthrown by a bunch of unarmed injured castaways is beyond me. I have a feeling there will be alot of WTF when the series ends and you look back at the big picture.

I agree, Ben is lame and like a repeat wash cycle. My fav character is still Jack and will always be. I still enjoy the storyline of the original characters, Jack, Kate, sAyid, Hurley, Sawyer, Locke, Jin and Sun. The others can go, Let's move on with Ben and hurry up and see what these new 4 have to offer.
