The very end was strange. I didn't know what to make of it. Pam looking to expand her horizons? I was expecting the dude to ask her to dinner or something too.

I love nearly every episode but that felt like a throwaway one. Wasn't too impressed.

      I'm waiting for next week.

that episode was rather weak... I've never felt that way for an episode before. A lot of instances in the show, the little cutscenes, had no weight on the episode at all, and wasted time in the episode.

Example: Pam in the art room.

          Are you serious?
That was one the most important scenes in the series about her character.

Yeah when people complain about scenes like that, I question whether or not they really like the show. Those kind of moments are what make this show good -- those moments are totally disregarded in formulaic sitcoms because there aren't any laughs... the character depth is what makes this show.

I really liked the episode -- lots of good development for the finale. Michael telling the kid to be a "classy janitor" absolutely killed me. Andy's blistered hands were a great running gag... the struggle as he tries to drink his beer is epic.. hah.

I'm probably the ONLY individual in this thread that LOVED every episode preceding this one, so I don't know what you're talking about and nor do I care. All I care to know is what that scene has to do with anything. I guess I didn't get it? No idea.

This was a setup episode. Its just like 24, not every episode can be filled with action, they have to set the groundwork. This episode laid the foundation for the finale. Itll get to the "interesting" parts, give it time.

Does everyone have to like ever Office scene to be classified as a fan? In the case of the "Pam in the art room scene" remember that Pam being an aspiring artist is essential to her character and that this episode also had her at the job fair looking into careers in the field, only to find her running into a high tech roadblock which required her having knowledge of computer graphic programs.

I think the writer's strike has hurt the continuity.

I noticed a little goof, in the episode where they want to create their own commercial pam is in charge of the "graphics" and is animating on the computer all night, yet on this last episode she doesn't know the basic graphic design programs?? hmmmmmm. Either way I'm excited for the finale and hope it ends well.

Maybe she did all of the graphics in MS Paint?

The art room scene was to emphasize how much she loves art.
