If I'm Will Smith, I put the grenade in the recovering girls hand and jump in the safe... you just know that zombie dude would have head butted the grenade like he head butted everything else. Problem solved. And Will lives. My ending is better.

Guh. It was crazy sold out in Manhattan on Saturday night. I didn't buy tickets in advance because I wasn't sure what time I'd get there.

Ended up watching Golden Compass instead. Not a bad movie. Not great or good. But, ok.

I'll watch I Am Legend sometime this week when the theaters are a bit less noisy.

I didnt read the book.

This movie was a total letdown IMO.

The ending of this movie left the entire theatre like "That's it?"

On that one scene, this one guy got up and took his family with him out of the movie. Guess he didnt like it either.

Will is a great actor, and in this movie he proved it, being the main lone character, but it really was a letdown and I cannot reccommend anyone pay full price for this movie.

Will was good, the movie was'nt. Alot of things did not connect for me and did'nt make since. I would give the overall movie a 6 out of 10, Will's acting a 9.

Awesome movie. Saw it last nite with my friend. Definitely one of the better movies of the year. Will's performance was awesome. I mean he did everything, he was emotional and energetic.

Loads of great scenes that hard your heart throbbing. The scene where he walked into the dark building was insane. Also i have to give props to that good old dog.

I thought the ending was a bit abrupt as well. Well at least him figuring it out, it was too soon. A couple scenes before that he was doubting everything, and within 10 mins he completely changes his mind. They should of extended the movie a little. Still a good movie

I mean he doubted there were any other survivors and even doubted in God. Then 10 mins later he suddenly remembers his daughter's butterfly symbol and completely changes. That was too abrupt, they should of worked that out a little.

And wtf was with those zombies/vampires setting up a trap??? I thought in his log he mentioned that they were losing any intelligence and also losing their pack like behavior??? The one dude was insane.

How did the book end??

Easily a 9/10

Worst movie I've seen all year. Absolutely terrible, nothing redeeming about it. I was bored to tears watching it. Awful, awful movie, complete waste of time and money.

The book ended totally different because the movie is pretty far away from the book. In the book, the vampires have their own society and look at Neville as an evil man for killing all of them at night. So, they capture him, have a trial, and then sentence him to death for his transgressions.

Exactly. I imagine it is the mindset of the person going to see the film and their current situation that helps shape their opinion on a movie to go along with their own personal tastes.

To further prove that point, I thought the trailer for Batman sucked and the movie didn't look that good. However, Batman Begins is one of my favorite movies.
