I believe in aliens. Has anybody read the book "Behold the Pale Horse" by William Cooper. According to the book not only have they been here, but they still are here. Now I don't believe everything in the book, but I know our "government" is capable of some shady stuff.

I have the book, that dude was a kook though, he died in a police shootout with him in his barricaded house. He was paranoid that the government was out to get him.

Read a lot of the forum posts and get the feeling that many people think the government hides all kinds of stuff from us. I'm not so sure about that. Our government is so huge and employs so many people that keeping huge secrets is almost impossible. The news agencies and the internet won't let any hiding be done. People like to talk.

First you would have to define what an 'alien race' is.

Does a living organism have to walk upright and traverse the galaxy in space-crafts to be classifeid as an 'alien race'?

If there are numerous organisms thriving in the polar regions of Mars (like there are on Earth), one could make the argument that they are indeed a massive alien race.

At the time I made that, alien race to me was just basically alien civilization just with the race thrown in somehow, it was not an entirely technical definition. Replace race with civilization to make more sense, I watched too many space movies or something where they refer to aliens as all being alien races. I really meant civilization. They could be there, I'm not going to pretend to know about this stuff, but I just don't think there is an advanced alien civilization living on Mars this moment.

And Boltman, it will probably take me a day on that other stuff, I got to check some facts about these things and I have two exams tomorrow and work later tonight so I'll get back on that tomorrow. For the most part what I said was what I knew fairly well, the other stuff I have to look up more specifically.

Our government is so huge and employs so many people that keeping huge secrets is almost impossible. The news agencies and the internet won't let any hiding be done. People like to talk.

Some will not talk if they value their job and way of living. I was a past employee in a govt agency and have seen a number of questionable things that the community and those outside were never hearing about at all. Most people think I am crazy about the things I talk about that I have seen, so imagine the response those talking about these types of things get.

Lets say you are outside one day in your back yard minding your own bussnezzz and all of a sudden something really strange happens you don't know what but you sure as hell know its not man made or of earth origin.

Then about 2 hours later before you tell anyone two black SUV's full of these guys wearing black suits shows up at your house to talk. These guys tell you what you just saw didn't happen you where in fact dreaming and you shouldn't tell anyone about you little late night event that just happened hours ago.

You tell them fu*k off and they proceed to let you that if you do in fact tell anyone all of a sudden your credit score will go from 760 to 210, you will be fired from your job, you will default on your home loan and they might just kill you for the hell of it.

What do you do????????

No doubt and who do you think would believe you when all this did happen to you? Not many would take your word over your employeer, bank, etc.

That is a point I think most people can agree with. But for most of the thread it really seemed like your point was that the absence of evidence proved there was no life anywhere else in the universe. Evidence can prove something is true. Lack of evidence does not prove something is false.

Yes you can agree on that point, but i'm wasn't here trying to agree.

There were plenty of fantasy posts in here.

I believe otherwise, not just becasue you cannot prove it, but that does not mean the guys in here saying things like "oh you're an alien hating idiot" belonged in here or gave credence to their post.

I happen to believe there are none and i'll die believing there is life in the universe with no purpose.

All I see is more questions than answers, and Mars and the moon are still a dried up planets for the very reason that there is no life there.

You find yourself a lawyer. One that has had a history of taking on the gov't. The gov't ends up with egg on its face way to much for things from A to Z for there to be a secret arm that makes people disappear for talking about ALiens. Maybe in the 50's with McCarthyism, but not now.

I mean think about it, with all the stories that leak out about the wrong doings in Iraq, etc, you think that there is a concerted effort to keep people quiet about Aliens? They have real matters at hand and they don't keep those people quiet. Instead, they get the media to focus your attention elsewhere, usually about anthrax or bird flu or some other heinous outbreak to keep you worried about your personal well being rather than focusing on political agendas.

The only way for this to work today, is for it to be under private control and not the government. Congress would have to approve funding, and if it is under Military control they could bury it under some other funding, but there would be questions about why there was so much funding going to something that on the surface wouldn't need that much. Also the President and high officials would have to know about it. If its under private control, they just have to keep the number of people who know small and threaten death if you talk and back it up.

Nasa has a budget of what how many Billions of dollars that part of the government is pretty much untouched by anyone they get what ever they want and thats not us speculating thats a fact.


Also the workers for Area 51 had to sign this crazy little deal its been so long I can't remember it that much. But it was to some effect that if you reveal anything here you get 30 years in jail no judge no trail your f*cked.
