If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

Here's a continuity issue that's always bugged the crap out of me.
In Rocky IV (4 for those who don't know Roman numerals), Rocky leaves Philly to train in Russia before fighting Ivan Drago. When he leaves, his son looks to be hovering around the 9 or 10 year old range.
In the beginning of Rocky V, he presumably returns to Philly a few days after the fight with Drago. When he gets back, all of a sudden, his son is like 13 or 14 years old.
What the hell?Comment

To give Luke the chance to switch off his targeting computer and learn more about the Force. Duh.Comment

Re: The "I didnt get it, did you?" thread
In the book, David Bowman evolves into a higher being and is freed from the bounds of space. He basically becomes like a god in a way in that he can be anywhere at anytime (weird, I know). He then proceeds to stop a nuclear war from happening on earth because it would disturb him.
For more detail, read the book. The book is different, though. For example, the monolith is around Jupiter in the movie, but it is around Saturn in the book. There really is not way to know what Stanley Kubrick meant, but we can at least get what Arthur C. Clarke meant.Comment

I still don't understand the ending for Basic Instinct.
So after Nick Curran gets done slamming Catherine Tramell at the very end, there is an ice pick underneath the bed.
So was Catherine the killer? Was Dr. Beth Garner the killer? Were they both the killers together??Comment

Re: The "I didnt get it, did you?" thread
I really enjoyed Children of Men. I thought it ended too abruptly as I wanted to see the secret colony (can't recall the name of it right now as I'm not terribly sober...I want to say Human Project??) but other than that I really liked it.
The one thing I didn't understand was right before the end when they got in the boat below ground that eventually would take them to the secret colony, how did other people not know about the sewers where they had all these supplies and such? This was outside the gates of the city where people life was as bad as you can imagine with people living like nomads and yet nobody can find this area that has all these supplies? There's like two guards yet it's still a big secret?Lux y VeritasComment
