    Yeah.

It was nothing good or bad. Your typical season intro episode. Setting up the game, villain, etc.

Just... be prepared for a weird season. It has the potential to be good, though, if done right. From what I remember some friends say about the arc in the manga at least.

Yes GGO/Phantom Bullet is one of the better arcs. I hope they dont mess it up.

          Just got done watching it.

Not disappointed, and I feel no hyperbole saying this show could be one of the best animes put out in recent history if treated with care. It's everything I love about a show like this.

Sufficiently dark story (kept from being a drag by the humor), beautiful artwork/art direction, extremely solid/fluid animation, etc.

Mark me down as believing this one could live up to the hype. Even the typical "Introduction episode" where it's a bit slower paced because people/elements/history has to be introduced was done well.

Haven't gotten around to watching the new animes on my list for this season, but good to hear that it looks like some series may be living up to the hype.

I got into Silver Spoon and ended up finishing it. It deals with a city kid going to a high school built around agriculture(cows, crops, farms) out in the boonies. It's kind of like Moyashimon in that it can turn what would seem like course work into something entertaining. I'll have to catch the second season as I only went through the first.

So I couldn't hold out. I watched SAO 2 and Akame and enjoyed both.

I knew SAO would be a build up episode and didn't go in expecting anything different so not disappointed even if a lot of the stuff we knew about already if you watched the first season. They followed the LN perfect.

Akame was gruesome and wonderful for the first episode. I loved everything about it except for 1 part. Won't say anything as to not spoil it.

I also managed to complete TTGL and complete the Manga of Mirai Nikki. Unsure if I will watch it animated now but we will see.

Probably about to start AoT next. There's so many shows I want to complete right now though. Lol. Even the old "not very good" shows. I found out yesterday that Deadman Wonderland was only 1 short season and I don't think the Manga finished so that sucks.

Figured I'd post a few pictures of the HTPC setup since I got it running.

I'm still lazy (and don't have crazy space in the apartment) so stuff is still just on portable HDDs. Once we move to a place with more space, I'm gonna have a NAS machine up and running for everything and just use FTP to transfer. Until then, I do it the lazy way.

Still not 100% sure which layout I like more, but the one in the first picture is the one that normally gets used.

The manga for Deadman Wonderland is already completed.

Watched the first three episodes of Tokyo Ghoul and the first two of Zankyou no Terror. Not often that an anime even meets my expectations, but these two have soared far beyond them.

This season is far better than the spring already.

Really loving Aldnoah Zero. The soundtrack is nice too.

As great as Aldnoah Zero and Tokyo Ghoul are, Nobunaga Concerto just might be my quiet favorite show right now.

A new Tenchi Muyo spin off project was announced yesterday. They're making it into 50 episodes, five minutes a piece. I don't get the format, but I've always been a big Tenchi fan as it was one of my first series.
