Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
Picked up "How To Train Your Dragon" yesterday and was floored by the picture quality. It has to be a direct-from-digital transfer, I had to do a double-take because I thought I saw "jaggies" on the characters from the PS3's lack of AA. In spite of all goofiness, absolutely FLAWLESS transfer and one of the highest bitrates I've seen this side of Avatar, which is a huge plus in my book.
The movie itself? A pleasant surprise, especially from Dreamworks (but it still doesn't quite have the "soul" of the other guys' stuff, unfortunately).Owner of URWL CAW WRESTLING: http://www.rantboard.net/Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

If I ever get Apocalypse Now, I will let you know how it is. I shipped last Saturday from Amazon, but damn USPS is slow as sloths apparently. I've been wanting to watch it so bad, love that movie.

Just picked up Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz at Best Buy. They're running a 2 for $22 deal with some fairly decent movies involved.
Solid deal, I thought. Especially because I've read nothing but raves about the transfers on those two discs.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn
