Looks like Scifi hasn't totally lost their minds. The are going to create a prequel show called Caprica. As slimkibbles mentioned, it will begin with a 2 hour movie, but it will include a full season starting in 2010.

"Caprica" should be quite interesting.
They have a trailer up for it.

The show is fine. It's a few episodes, then a week off here and there. Then split a season. I swear I keep forgetting wtf is going on.
If someone wanted to see this show for the first time I'd just say watch the DVD's. There's so much going on, that it loses something when there's these absurd long breaks.PSN: JISTIC_OS

I know what you are saying. The show itself is still fun to watch but the "presentation" sucks. I personally have lucked out twice regarding programs that have had such inconsistent presentation: The Sopranos and BSG. I was late to discovering both programs so watched them all in one shot on dvd, thus avoiding the waits. Man I bet that was excruciating.
However, I can empathize because of my family's experience watching Lost. Man, talk about inconsistent presentation. Wouldn't you think any show that has such a large and loyal following would not be dangled by a network like a porkchop in front of a hungry dog? Ridiculous.
One additional comment about BSG, I had been hearing about how good it was for a couple of years, but it wasn't until the Office episode when Dwight asked the gentleman at a company party if he watches BSG. The gentleman said no, then Dwight replied, "Well, you're an idiot." I started Netflixing them immediately, then got my whole family hooked. We completed season 4.0 last night, so January 16th can't get here quick enough.Comment

Your prediction just dawned on me. It could make sense since her character continues to just hang in there; however, I am not necessarily going to agree with you. Would she shock you as being a cylon as much as when Saul Tigh, Chief, Sam, and Tory(though I knew she was a cylon after the exodus from New Caprica when she must have unintentionally helped with the abduction of Hera) were revealed? To make her the 5th, I would think her character must gain some more notoriety before the revealing.
You could be right. My wife, my son, my daughter, and I still can't decide who will be our final prediction. Before Jan. 16th, we should all declare our predictions for bragging rights.

You guys need to watch the 10-part Web series "The Face of the Enemy" that is airing on Sci-Fi right now. It will end up being about the length of one regular episode when its over, but its a nice bridge to take us to the final 10 shows of the series.Jordan Mychal Lemos
