Re: Battlestar Galactica: Final Season Discussion Thread
Although its run has been much shorter than all of my other favorites, I'm going to go ahead an say that, for me, this show is The Greatest Of All Time.
I didn't see anything in this episode coming. I don't have the slightest idea what going to happen next. These last nine episodes are going to be something else. I'm blown away.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

SpoilerWhen they revealed who the final cylon was, I was totally confused about Starbuck and what happened to her. Going to be interesting to see what that is all about. I don't understand why Leoben ran away from her during that one scene.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: Battlestar Galactica: Final Season Discussion Thread
This is and has been THE BEST show on television...period.
I was shocked at the end of this episode, same as the rest of you.
Also Dee's segment really took me by surprise. I literally jumped when she did it.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: Battlestar Galactica: Final Season Discussion Thread
I think I took two steps back with where I thought about what was going to happen. The Dualla scene was terribly shocking. Starbuck? Tigh's revelation?
What about the bones of all those Cylons found on Earth, does that mean actually more skinjobs? That makes me think that what Tigh said isn't true.
Correct me guys if I am breaking protocol. I may have mentioned items that should have had the cloak of spoilerness covering it. I would think if you didn't want to know what happened, don't go into the thread that discusses what just happened. Please someone let me know though if I have goofed. Thanks.Last edited by Hammerhunker; 01-17-2009, 08:24 PM.Comment

Re: Battlestar Galactica: Final Season Discussion Thread
So, That was unexpected. I didn't think they'd do the reveal that fast after they came back, AND i didn't think it would be who it turned out to be.
But Starbuck's situation throws me for a loop.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: Battlestar Galactica: Final Season Discussion Thread
SpoilerTyrol and Anders both touched/picked up something on Earth that triggered memories (Tigh & Tory likely did so as well). The only other character to pick up something other than remains or dirt was Dualla. In her case, it was the jacks that she found in the dirt, which caused her to start having an emotional breakdown. My thinking was that it triggered a similar Cylon flashback for her, and for whatever reason she couldn't handle it. She puts on a happy face for Adama, possibly either faking it or just really at peace with what she is about to do. She gets some good final memories in with Lee, and then she goes out on her own terms.
My theory of what may come to be the truth:
SpoilerI think they did a fairly good job at suggesting that Starbuck was potentially a Cylon, hinting that Dualla may have been one, and blatantly saying that Tigh's wife was one. With how this show has gone, I don't think the writers are just going to hand us the final Cylon on a platter like that with 9 episodes to go. I think that one of these 3 is the final Cylon the first 7 models knew about, but I think there will end up being more models that they never knew about. I think it could end up being at least a few more peopleComment

I still think there is some possibility to this, in some fashion or another:

So last night's episode was good but it was more just there to lead up to next week, which looks rather intense. Chief Tyrol found out something major though.MLB: Cincinnati Reds
