Re: Do You Buy Females Drinks In The Club?
It just depends on what your goal is.
I was at a bar with a few friends of mine Friday night and my friend who doesn't drink bought us a couple rounds of shots. If it's your friends and you're all out just having a good time, then definitely buy some drinks.
But if you're trying to run some game on a chick, buying her a drink does nothing but demonstrate lower value and lumps you in with the rest of the losers in the club fighting to get a chance to "buy her a drink".
Like Nivek said, the best thing is to go up to a chick and ask her to buy you a drink.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment

If she's really hot, no. Because she's only there to get free drinks.Twitter

I have to say Nivek& Thrasha, that I have never heard that line before and it would fall pretty flat with all but the most desperate women . You're just advertising the fact that you're either cheap or a jerk. That line exudes cockiness rather than confidence. There are a lot better ice breakers then that.

If I'm dating the girl I'll get her a drink or two.
If it's a stranger, no way.Comment

Re: Do You Buy Females Drinks In The Club?
Yeah, that's kinda what it boils down to if you ask me. It's kinda like buying a Rolex or something: stupid, moronic waste of money if you make 30K a year, but if you make 250K a year, it's not proportionately much more expensive than buying a Fossil or something. In turn, buying a drink for some random chick seems like throwing your money away if you've only got fifty bucks or something to spend, but if you have $300 to blow for the night, for example, buying lots of drinks for lots of people seems pretty on-point to me.Concrete evidence/videos pleaseComment

Re: Do You Buy Females Drinks In The Club?
I won't do it for randoms. I've never met anyone worthwhile in club/bar anyway. Just skanks for a one night ditty. Why pay for what I can get for free. Same theory applies to strip clubs.
If I was with a chick I was dating then yeah I'd buy some drinks. I know some bartenders here in DC so I can usually get a lot comped.
But I'm married and have to buy the drinks now....RIP #21

"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

The intent isn't to get them to buy you a drink, it's to start a conversation or situation in which they've never encountered. Thus, they pay more attention or find you interesting. It takes 3 seconds for a guy to say, "can I buy you a drink?" and another three seconds for a women to say "thanks hun" and walk the **** away.
Try it before you knock it, you'll be amazed at the results. I'm not trying to say I'm a mack daddy or any **** like that, but all the guys that end up with Palmala Handerson at the end of the night all have something in common.
Be original, take risks and don't use money to chase women, it also doesn't hurt to be a gentlemen. Buying a girl a drink doesn't make you a gentlemen, it shows you need a reason for her to stay.Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.Comment
