I listened to TGT Three Kings...

Tyrese and Ginuwine just can't touch Tank. He's completely on another level and his vocals are far superior to the other guys. They quite honestly just ruin the album.

Tank can sing about a damn dollar in a strip club and make it sound classy

Been awhile since I've seen/heard something new from Frank Ocean.

Got engaged and I'm pulling hard for our song to be 'If this world were mine' by Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn.

It's hands down my favorite duet of all time and they both are flawless on the piece. It's timeless and I feel it in my soul.

Any funk fans in here? Outside of Sly Stone and George Clinton my funk knowledge is weak. Just curious if you guys had any recommendations and what classics I should keep an eye out for while digging for old vinyls.

Also, any fried-funky gospel stuff would be welcome.

I haven't found it yet. Found a bunch of other Funkadelic stuff the last time, but didn't pick any of them up since I already had a stack full including Parliament's Mothership Connection. I can't find any Sly Stone albums other than Greatest Hits Vol. 1 and There's A Riot Goin' On (I actually have two copies).

My area primarily has country and classic rock. I haven't found any rap vinyls other than new ones in stores.

Make sure you have a subwoofer hooked up before playing this:

Pretty good album. A little more "80s" than I typically like, but pretty smooth.

Pacific Gas & Electric has also been kind to my ears.

I put in Sly & the Family Stone's Stand! in the car. Its crazy/sad all the themes are still relevant today nearly 50 years later. The contrast between the light-pop sound and the dark social overtones is a nice touch.
