After watching Season 3, anytime I see Idris Elba and Wood Harris in another movie, they'll always be Stringer Bell and Avon to me. Regardless of what they're in.

Season 3....wow man. Just...wow.

Considering you posted those Brother Mouzone videos I thought you'd give him the upset over Bunk. Also, I'm shocked ANYONE would pick Greggs over Marlo. Bodie I can see, but not Kima.

Bodie, Marlo, and Stringer are my three favorite characters ever. So, having them in the same division was tough. Any other bracketing and they'd be in my final 4.

So many great characters, mostly on the other side of the law.

Right now I'm enjoying Homeland and Game of thrones which are excellent. You may want try boardwalk empire also. If you are a fan of Stringer Bell check out a show called Luther on netflix. Idris is excellent on that.

I just had a discussion with a guy in my web design class Wednesday. He mentioned that he has only seen seasons 1 & 2. He didn't like season two as much and loved season 1. So I quickly created a login for him to use so that he could watch the rest on my HBO Go account. I got a text from him This afternoon, telling me how since Wednesday night he as made it through half of season 4 and loves the show, and already ordered them from amazon.

Great Maxim article interviewing cast members and producers of the Wire. Some funny stuff in there.

Method Man (Calvin “Cheese” Wagstaff, Proposition Joe’s gang): We had a taste of what The Wire was before The Wire came out when they did The Corner. It was like Star Trek compared to Star Wars. Star Trek was good, but you wanted to see more detail. I wanted to see some space fighting. When Star Wars came out it blew my ****ing mind.

Andre Royo: They called me and told me I got the part of Bubbles, and my wife got excited. “Oh, ****! You got the part!” Packing her bag for L.A., and I’m like, “Nah, nah, we filming in Baltimore.” And she unpacked real quickly: “I’ll see you when you come home.”

Michael B. Jordan (Wallace, Barksdale gang dealer): This is some real ****. It was real to the point where crackheads would come up and try to cop. I had fake money, and they would come over, and an exchange would go down. I would think they were part of the crew, and I’d make the exchange. Then security would come around and be like, “No! No! No!” and break it up. I was like, “Oh, ****! That’s really a crack-head! I’m sorry! I’m not really a drug dealer!”

Tray Chaney (Malik “Poot” Carr, Barksdale gang dealer): Every time I got a script, I would look and see if Poot lived through that episode: “Yo, let me see if I’m still going to have a job tomorrow.”
