Yep, I can't wait to start from season one. Direct TV has all the seasons on HBO On Demand. I actually know or knew, one of the actors. I think he started in Season 3, real name Jamie Hector, we use to kick it when I stayed in NY, my friend was in a movie with him Brooklyn Bound and I was an extra in the movie, I remember we use to battle rap and free style in a cipher with him in the Brooklyn projects, good times.

So I am about to start this as my tv series to get through for the summer. Plus it'll fill the gap that GoT will be leaving with its series ending Sunday. Can't wait.

Bottom line they are all great shows although OS doesn't give Tony and crew a lot of respect.

If you haven't watched The Wire you need to...you might not stop so you may not want to get all the seasons at once.

So I am about to start this as my tv series to get through for the summer. Plus it'll fill the gap that GoT will be leaving with its series ending Sunday. Can't wait.

Only one of those that would be close would be Breaking Bad, but I prefer the more grounded approach of The Wire.

Personally, its top 3 for me easy. Other two would probably be Mad Men and Six Feet Under with the Sopranos and Arrested Development sniffing around there.

Of those shows that have ended I have The Wire, The Sopranos and Six Feet Under in my top three. It's hard to really rank which is first and which is third. They're interchangeable because they're all just that good and so different.

Of the current shows Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire and Breaking Bad are my Top 3 (probably in that order too).

I do love Dexter, The Walking Dead and Mad Men, but in my opinion they aren't as good as the others I have mentioned.

Through season 2 now, just started up season 3. I really liked the story line with the Docks.

When Sobotka went to visit The Greek in the second to last episode of the season, I figured he was in trouble. Then in the finale they pull him out of the water with his throat slashed. Felt kinda bad for him.

This season definitely had it's moments. Like when Ziggy shoots Glekas and the kid in the store.

And when Prez sucker punches the Major. I was watching it alone and even let out an "Oh, damn!!" Pretty rare for me to have a vocal reaction to a TV show

And it seems like McNulty is on D's murder, trying to figure out whether it was actually suicide or if someone killed him. I was hoping that would be resolved so everyone didn't just go on with their lives thinking D offed himself.

Oh, and in season 3 ep 2 when Cheese is talking about

shooting his dog. They hear it on the wire and assume he is talking about shooting his "dawg". They think they have him confessing to a murder, only to find out after a few minutes of interrogation that he was literally talking about a dog. Awesome scene

So many people watched the Sopranos and missed the Wire, it is criminal really. Boardwalk Empire will probably be up there as mentioned but will have to see how the series finishes.
