I’ve already been acclimated to Jamie Hector playing a cop on Bosch.
A couple of days ago I saw an interview with him and Bernthal about the show.

Gonna start watching this. It looks really good, and anything with Bernthal is good. One of my favorite actors and a hell of a guy in real life too.

I just watched the first episode and it’s pretty good. There are a few Wire alumni sprinkled throughout. Seeing Josh Charles as a bad guy was something new.

I like him too. He’s supposed to be playing Richard Gere’s American Gigolo character in an upcoming Showtime series. I think it’s set 15 years after the movie.

The eager informant (Jemell Rayam) was O-Dogg on The Wire whose biggest claim to fame was killing Bodie with Snoop & Chris assists.

Not going to name all The Wire alumni but I noticed Slim Charles had a small part.

It's been a few years, so I decided over Christmas to start a rewatch. Watching that first episode again ... man, I had forgotten so much.
