    No problem.

If we had karma, mine would be so far into the negatives, it wouldn't matter much. haha

Takes about 5 seconds and it's gone for as long as you have that as your preference.
That way doesn't give you any results when you click the dropdown though. It disables the awesome bar, in addition to completely disabling the address bar dropdown. The way I posted at lets you emulate the way the address bar (and dropdown) both used to work in FF2.

When you type a post, like i'm doing now, and complete what you are saying, instead of using the mouse and clicking on SUBMIT REPLY you simply hit Alt-S and it submits your reply. That's what it should do anyways if Mozilla didn't decide to try to reinvent the wheel and give us a feature no one cares about (oh boy Alt-S shows my history - wheee, thanks guys!).

Sorry if I sound bitter. It's because I am.

When do we expect extensions like Adblock, IE View, DownThemAll, Bugmenot, etc to be compatible with version 3?

My AdBlock Plus works with 3 from the getgo. This version really got rid of the memory issue firefox 2 had. This thing runs at 80mb of memory when only one page is up, and if i get it up to 5-6 pages and the memory balloons to 170mb, it shrinks when i close the tabs. Firefox 2 would just leak memory like no tomorrow. It would routinely run 200mb of ram.

Why can't people just press Tab -> Space to submit their replies?

Probably because when you do an advanced reply Tab -> Space doesn't send you to the submit reply button.

That said, why someone can't just hit shift before alt-s I don't know.

I didn't know either, but I tested it out just to see and it didn't work.

Advanced reply would require tab 3 times.

well for starters shift-alt-s doesn't work. and secondly why hit three keys when you should be able to hit 2? and third of all, i've been doing alt-s for 5 years now, as someone said, creature of habit.
