Ummm.... 7 tabs and you're complaining about 134mb of ram being used? Dude... That is a pretty damn good ratio.

Yeah, it seems that FF3 is using more memory as a whole, but its not growing much as you open more tabs as it used too.

It still uses way too much memory IMO.

          I agree with that.

With the same page open (this thread):

          Firefox 3.0 = 150 MB
          Safari 3.1.1 = 49 MB
          Camino 1.6.1 = 42 MB

No but a guy did figure out it will not work when there are two submit buttons on the screen is the reason. Hitting Alt-S just moves between them (this is after applying the 2.0 fix). Still researching this. I will not give up on it I swear Dookie!

                Wow this is cool.

I never knew about this on IE, sorry.

Do you have a problem when running no extensions?

I haven't tried. It hasn't slowed down my computer really, but I would've thought Mozilla would've fixed it by now.

You know you're old when you see this thread and get excited thinking "wow, I didn't know there was a sequel to Firefox, much less a third one!!"

I'm not keeping any sort of running tab of the problems, but now that it's been a while I can say - this isn't exactly impressing me. It seems to crash a lot, for one thing, way more than FF2 ever did. Another thing I'm seeing a lot of is that it doesn't seem to remember my filled-in info with any regularity. Not sure if it's on my end or what, but I'm experiencing lots of little bugs like this. Works fine, sure, but the general sense of "upgrade" is wavering for me a bit.

I haven't had any crashes since upgrading and FF2 used to crash quite a bit for me at times. I haven't noticed anything wrong with the filled in info/passwords stuff either.
