Can't find anything. Linkification has spoiled me. I really hope it gets updated soon.

I've got a thread on mozilla.com that is bringing the ALT-S no longer work issue up, I am not letting the thread die..go post in it (you can post anonymously). Post about how outrageous this is that this is still functionally broken, just like 2.0 was. At least 2.0 though you could fix yourself, unlike 3.0

        GIVE ME ALT-S OR.......FIREFOX 2.0!! Heh...

You must not use quick reply with ALt-S then...or you wouldn't say beautifully. It's more like ugly.

Hotmail, still isn't working here. With 2.0 I could right click on a folder to empty it, that no longer works with 3.0.

That's good news kind of. That would mean it's something on my end. I can't use any of the bbcode buttons and have to use post reply instead of quick reply. Also, when I quote a message, I see html instead of just bbcode. Everything is still fine in Opera. I guess I'll try an uninstall/reinstall, but I doubt that's going to help. This could be the thing to keep me at 2.0.

Seriously man, I know this is a big issue to you, but it's getting pretty annoying how much you've been bitching about it. You don't need to bring it up every time someone says they like FF3.

I'm not bringing it up because he said he liked it, i'm bringing it up because he's having issues the same as me. That other guy I don't think understood what we were talking about.

He said the quick reply button and the formatting buttons aren't working for him, not that he can't use the "Alt+S" thing.

the quick reply not working is the alt-s thing.

I've not been having any problems with quick replay or the bbcode showing up. I really wish Mozilla would fix the high memory usage, though. I shouldn't be using 114k with just two tabs open. The bookmarks in the address bar is kind of annoying, but whatever. I can't really tell major differences outside of visuals, but maybe I haven't used 3.0 enough to really tell.

No I never used Alt+S. I was referring to when you are reading a thread, the quick reply button that appears below each post:
Maybe it's something to do with that edit for the awesome bar. The uninstall/reinstall didn't work. I had to use html in this post lol. Something is screwy.

Edit: Nope, that's not it either.
                          Smiley buttons don't work .

Seems isolated to OS so far though, other vbulletin forums I frequent I am not having issues with yet. I wonder what's going on.

You could make a backup of your profile folder somewhere, delete the original, then uninstall/reinstall.

Great call snepp. It was definitely profile related. I saved my bookmarks and use delicious so instead of going through every little thing that could have been the issue, I'll just start over. It's working fine again now.

Okay, so I finally gave in and installed FF3.

Very disappointed with the memory issue still. FF as a whole seems to have sped up for me (less delays in switching tabs I find) but it's still a memory hog. I have 7 tabs open currently and it's sucking up 134,000 KB of my RAM.

Browser screen seems to have streamlined a slight bit. Address bars, tabs and stuff seems to take up less space than before... or it could be just me.
