I agree SPTO, I used to have random crashes on FF2 but ever since switching over I havent had a single crash yet.

I just got an update from a dev on the bug mozilla forums (appropriately named I think) that said "try alt-shift-s?" and I replied "it does not work nor is it acceptable for it to work, alt-s is the standard for reply in vbulletin and should either be made to work by default or an acceptable workaround posted!"

Good luck with that, I doubt they are going to go way out of there way to save people the "hassle" of pressing another key on their keyboard. I dont care either way but I will be shocked if they do it, especially considering what they told you already.

They should fix it, it's an industry standard. Firefox is in no place to try to re-define the intustry standard.

Maybe, but you arent forced to use it either so I doubt they change it unless a ton of people are as serious about it as you and bombard them with complaints.

Not sure if it's on my end or what, but I'm experiencing lots of little bugs like this. Works fine, sure, but the general sense of "upgrade" is wavering for me a bit.
If you're getting a lot of crashes there's likely an issue with either the profile, or one of your extensions that isn't completely compatible with 3.0 yet.

This thread kind of died, but am wondering if anyone can help me out. I downloaded FF 3 the other day, and some of the pages I frequent daily are not rendering properly making them unreadable. Also in OS, I cannot click on smileys or even edit a page in FF 3. Not sure if I should just delete everything and start over. Anyone else having this issue? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
