    It's the country I grew up listening to and it trumps anything new easily.

    There's a huge myth about country being dead, but there are still some good modern country artists that are good or fun to listen to as well.

      I don't think its dead, I just don't like all the new stuff. I kinda like Luke Bryan, and Taylor Swift, but who doesn't lol.

      How do you guys feel about Dwight Yoakam? Obviously he's not new but he's one of my favorite older singers as well.

        I've always liked Dwight. He definitely did well with that Bakersfield sound.
