Gangs in NY goes hard. Could've done without Jimmy though.

Im feelin it no more of that voice I think he's back to his old style. Definitely sounds a lot more serious on this and no dre on the production thats a surprise to me.
    Not too bad right there.

We'll probably get an Outkast album before we get either Big Boi's OR Andre's solo album. Hell, I'm STILL waiting on the Outkast Gangsta Grillz that was supposed to come out the beginning of LAST year lol.

Its a legit site, you get 5 free DL's per day(some mixtapes you get as a freebie and they are called sponsers)

if you want unlimited DL's ,you can subribe for it for a fee...I think they have a plan for a week, 6months and a year...

If you buy and love mixtapes, it will be a good investment
rapgodfathers.com is another one as well.

Oh and that Nas/Damian Marley joint has leaked too for anyone that's interested.

I'm sure I'll report on it more when I listen to it completely, but I'm just happy to have some good new music (with more on the horizon).
Just finished listening to this and WOW is all i can say. Deep, soulful lyrics, nice beats with some cool string's mixed in, Marley does a great job and NAS is at the top of his game. I'm not a huge reggae fan so i thought Marley might put me off this a bit but they work really well together imo.

My favorite hip hop album since 'The Cool'.

I know I'm late as hell, but I've been recently introduced to Charles Hamilton. I heard about him years ago and never bothered to pay attention or look him up. I've only really heard one song by him (this kid put me on to it), but love the beat and have it on repeat. I'm going to spend some time listening to him, but wanted to know if anybody on here is feeling him. Any mixtape suggestions from big Charles Hamilton fans?

Not mixtapes but you must download "Press C". "Brooklyn Girls" is also pretty tight but I have a feeling you've heard it already since it got a bit of video play.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

                  Thanks guys!

Keep the suggestions coming (as far as best mixtapes). I ended up downloading a zipped file that has 6 of his mixtapes in it (nice) and the person has the rest of his albums uploaded in 2 more files I think (I still need to get those) so I'll definitely have a chance to at least check him out. Is this guy as good as the hype? Seems like he is weak to average lyrically but excels in flow, production, and creativity more than anything else. I don't know if this is correct or not because I'm basing it on very little. I was reading some interviews with the guy today and he seems certifiably nuts, but I sort of like that about him, lol.

BNG I heard BK Girls a few days ago when I heard Nov. 10th. I liked it and it made me think he could be more than a "mixtape rapper", but something about that Sonic beat just gets me every time.
