Yeah, they seem a bit contrived considering he waited until his 4-5th album to delve into his personal life. Nearly his whole catalog before that lacked substance. All of the greats put their personal life into their records.

Same here, and I actually prefer the Dilated peoples "worst comes to worst" more than the Luda one.

          Kid Cudi Arrested:

Cudder was charged with felony criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance earlier today in NYC. According to the Daily News Cudi went into a druken rage inside a woman's apartment where he broke her door hinges and cell phone. So much for the pursuit of happiness.

Cudder was charged with felony criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance earlier today in NYC. TMZ reports, a glass bottle of a controlled substance was found at a scene of an unknown woman’s apartment where the rapper broke the hinges off her door and slammed her cell phone. Damn. So much for the pursuit of happiness.
I guess he's trying to live up to the name of his next album.

Nas Wants To Get That Pop Music Money: According to various Internet sources, Nas is looking to make an album with broad appeal...quite a stretch for the normally gritty MC. He's hooking up with a deciedely Pop-ier producer this time around, Alex da Kid, who worked with B.o.B.

I just got back from the NaS and Jr. Gong concert here in Atlanta. It was incredible. If you have the chance you should definitely go.

                    - No Love off of Recovery is getting a video. I have a feeling Space Bound will be the next single after that.

                    - This is from a couple weeks ago. I felt it still needed to be posted because there needs to be some G.O.O.D. Music love in here.

                    Big Sean - High Rise

                    - Also some unreleased J. Cole. Yessir.

Wow Big Sean and Drake sound really similar.

It was hilarious listening to their track together, sounded like the same guy.

I could never really get into the whole J.Cole, Big Sean, B.O.B movement. I've tried to get into it, including listening to a few of their songs but it's just something about their music doesn't capture my attention as much as others do. And it's not like I can't dig their style because I like it but with them I can't really get into that much.

Speaking of Roc Nation, as much as I liked the Original Pretty Girls song by Wale, the remix is actually starting to grow on me some.

Dre 3000 turned down Drake on a Thank Me Later feature:

It’s being called the biggest music release of the year. Indeed, Drake’s major label debut Thank Me Later, which hit shelves today (June 15), has received a level of excitement usually reserved for veteran superstar artists.

It’s being called the biggest music release of the year. Indeed, Drake’s major label debut Thank Me Later, which hit shelves today (June 15), has received a level of excitement usually reserved for veteran superstar artists. But so far the Toronto MC has managed to hit the musical sweet spot by crafting songs that appeal to hipsters, hardcore hip-hop heads and female fans.

But there is one person that has yet to jump aboard the seemingly unstoppable Drake train: Andre 3000. “I really tried to do a song with Andre 3000, but I think it was meant for my second album,” Drake told VIBE on the eve of his release date. “Dre is one of those people that needs you to do a little more. He’s one of those people that believe in his craft so much that he needs you to do more than just be over hyped or just famous. In his mind, I have to prove myself and the truth is, I do. That’s just being real. I have a lot of work to do, so I actually respect him for that. I think on the second album I’ll probably only have two features. I have a few people in mind and Dre probably will be one of them.”

Anyway when Wayne comes out of prison and they release that Drake x Wayne album, that should be some good car/weekend music.
