Can someone please explain to me the success of Kid Cudi? I know he's had some catchy club /radio tracks but i am yet to hear any song that suggests he is anything more than mediocre lyrically.
Well if you go in expecting dope rhymes with Cudi then you're going to be disappointed. I don't mind Cudi at all but I can agree that he isn't that great.

Interested in hearing the songs in bold and that's about it. Maybe Maybach Music III too but I'm really not looking forward to this album. Ricky is still living off of Hustlin' or whatever the name of that song was.

Lol anytime I hear that song all I can think of is this:

Rick Ross just realized that he could rhyme "Ross" with "Bawse" and somehow parlayed that into a rap career.

That happens because the bar is set pretty low. TRL was the downfall of the music industry. Actual musical talent is no longer a prerequisite for a music career.
I dont remember there names but they were allot of fun....

I liked Cudi's Man on the Moon alright but agree that lyrically he's not great.

It applies to many things in life. People out there like fat chicks, brussel sprouts, and nascar...hey whatever works for them.

Biggie practically rolled in his grave when they try to compare the two...

Only thing they have in common is weight...

Someone mind translating that for me lol.

Normally I can read/understand stuff like that but I can't understand a damn thing he just said.

I think the gist is that CuDi and Kanye are both dropping on September 14th (as of now). It took me a few reads to decipher that.
