Hm, I liked it. Beat is nice, especially liked the instrumental behind Kanye's verse. I agree with ypu NCST it sounds like something you'd easily miss on a mixtape but I thought it was kinda fresh all the same.

Any updates on this man? I'm not really up on blogs and fansites and I don't even have a facebook account. I need you to keep me updated, lol.

My bad, Streets. I'm in Vegas right now. I'm still going and there are talks of a victory rally or something but I haven't heard any real details on the plans.

I've seen people talk about how they still feel the need to protest just because of the fact that we had to take action. I personally don't think it's a good idea to respond negatively after Atlantic has done what we wanted and put a release date on the album. Id much rather have a victory parade.

So what is the general opinion on Ludacris? I'm not a big fan of some of his newer songs, but I have a pandora radio that used Ludacris, Emery(punk band) and Randy Rogers Band(country) and a lot of Ludacris' older stuff comes up and it's pretty good.

That's how I feel about him as well. His new stuff is pretty bad.

I think Ludacris is an intriguing rapper. He murders almost every song he is featured on, but he can't carry that over to any of his albums. He is very hit and miss when it comes to his albums.

Haven't been following the thread too much, but:

Lupe Fiasco = Best Rapper Alive.

His lyrics and metaphors and way ahead of his time. I usually don't buy CDs but I will most likely buy this one.

I'm just trying to do the opposite of left, As long as there is the opposite of death. You test, and I might just bring the opposite of life, Till there's no one the opposite of Right

EDIT: Also, Asher Roth went to my high school.

holy **** that rhyme was ill.

Lupe is the best, and I think he's making an argument for G.O.A.T.

I see J. Cole competing with him for the title

I also agree with this about him. His cameos are almost always on point.

There's a whole thread about this a few pages back. Just look for a Lupe Fiasco thread. Really don't need to start up that arguement in here lol.

Honestly, I like J. Cole and he's pretty high on my list but I feel like Wale is better in terms of lyrics.

I also feel that Consequence is very underrated and underappreciated and that he should be getting more recognition for his skills and seemingly effortless wordplay.

"I tried to stick it out with her through thick and thin so whether she was thick or thin, I'd still stick it in."
