Thats so far from the truth and its the opposite..

If Run wasnt his dad, people wouldnt be hating on him...

Im not talking about none you you guys but around the internet, its crazy how much hate he gets, especially compare to so one like lil b who gets alot of love...

And exactly what attention is he getting beside people sending him hate messages?

If his dad wasn't famous he would just be another mediocre rapper from New York and would get absolutely no attention at all, whether it's the hate you claim is around or people defending him.

"Diggy was nice, but JoJo was wack" is a typical comment I hear about the cypher yet no one mentions how better OMG was than Dough Boy...

Its a trend to hate...

He is mediocre but thats doesnt mean he sucks...

I pretty much draw the line at 17 or 18 as to whether or not I give a you know what about anything you say, do, or are involved in. I don't care about Diggy the same way I don't care about Justin Bieber singing about Baby this and Baby that.

I was smarter and more mature than all my friends at 15 or 16 years old....and I was still a damn idiot.

cause 95% of the things he say's sound like they're from a damn idiot lol. You should at least listen to some of his stuff before you dismiss it like you are. I mean this kid at 15 sounds smarter than you do

and there is a big difference between an actual idiot (bieber) and a mature kid

And this part goes out to everyone in the thread, why does all of your hip-hop have to be about meaningful ish? I'm all for it and thinks there needs to be more of it, but why not have a balance of everything, immature and enlightening etc.?

EDIT: man the 90's were lame, gotta love rakim and those mutton chops

Honestly, I like J. Cole and he's pretty high on my list but I feel like Wale is better in terms of lyrics.

I also feel that Consequence is very underrated and underappreciated and that he should be getting more recognition for his skills and seemingly effortless wordplay.

Two things. Its crazy to think this song came out 17 years ago and i remember the single dropping. White cover with just the Wu symbol on a book and a sword on the front. My boy actually had the original 12" with PYN and Tearz on it from "Wu-Tang Records" before Loud got them on.


Second...U-God, to this day i still have no idea what he said.

I'm a grown man, homie.

Life is too short...my time listening to music is limited...there are literally thousands of great artists in the world.

A mediocre 15 year old boy rapping about fallopian tubes....is pretty far down on my list of priorities.

like what you like though...I just have too much great music to listen to to even think about giving him a shot.
