I don't know about everyone else but I highly recommend the following series by three of my favorite rappers.

Lupe Fiasco- Fahrenheit 1/15 (I believe there are three volumes)

Royce Da 5'9"- The Bar Exam (I believe their are three here too)

Joe Budden- Mood Muzik (I think he put out four mixtapes under this series, 5 if you include Mood Muzik 3.5)

Warm Up and FNL are a big step up from The Come Up though, in a good way.

As for other mixtapes, Big K.R.I.T. has some really good ones, namely the one he just released 4eva N A Day (loving this BTW; not as many skippable songs compared to some of his past tapes).

Kendrick Lamar's Section .80 is really good. Some of his beats/production are a little "different" I guess, but lyrically he's easily one of the best up and comers in the game.

Zero Heroes by XV is also really good. Maybe not a "classic mixtape" but good nonetheless. If you've played NBA 2K12 then you've already heard one of the best songs off of that mixtape, "Awesome".

And the last one that comes to mind for me is Drake's So Far Gone. As huge as Drake is nowadays, this was from when he was still a little less known. It might even be better than his albums honestly.

Like Juke said though, go to datpiff. They have damn near everything there as well as fan-made mixtapes that are pretty good as well and sometimes they'll have songs from artists you like that you've never heard before which is nice.

As far as Must Have Mixtapes of All Time, definitely need those early 50 Cent/G-Unit Radio Mixtapes from the early 00s, especially Guess Who's Back and Power of the Dollar.

As far as Must Have Mixtapes of All Time, definitely need those early 50 Cent/G-Unit Radio Mixtapes from the early 00s, especially Guess Who's Back and Power of the Dollar.

Stuff like this and the guy who posted about KRIT and Kendrick is what I'm looking for. I know about the mainstream mixtapes and things of that nature.

The only KRIT mixtape I had was Krit Wuz Here. I've been getting into Charles Hamilton also. I'm trying to find some of the mixtapes that I might not find just searching "most viewed" on DatPiff.

I'm downloading the ones posted so far!

That's just off the top of my head. Those would all be a good start.

And yes I used to bump Lil' Wayne, back when he was actually decent lol
