I'll give him credit, tho. He has a great ear for beats.

"X makes music for Y" comments give me headaches.

Meh I don't love Mac Miller, but don't hate him. Usually he has a few good songs because of the beats as said.

Who else is excited for Lil Wayne's skateboarding career haha

No, just annoys me when clowns take on a condescending tone whenever they're not feeling something. I'm not a Mac Miller fan, but I'm not going to act like only a certain group of people can appreciate his talent.

It's true though and it's like that for PLENTY of other Rappers as well.

Been that way for years, my man and it has nothing to do with not feeling that artist or their music. Just like I don't expect anybody born in the mid-late 90s to appreciate Illmatic or Reasonable Doubt or Straight Outta Compton or the talents of Scarface or Master P or Big Pun, just to name a few.

I was born in '93, and Illmatic is the album that got me into hip-hop, overrated as it is.

I'm a fan of Nas and have a lot of respect for NWA and the Geto Boys as they paved the way for a lot of artists today.

Good rap is good rap, bruh. It can all be appreciated if you take the time to see what message the artist is trying to convey.

Not really a fan of Mac Miller, but I can listen to "donald trump" & "nikes on my feet" all day. Plus I like listening to the K.I.D.S mixtape

Ehh song. Beat is meh. Drake's verse is ight but doesn't really relate to the song and you would think on a posthumous record where you already know what the vocals are, you could craft something to fit it. Also really not the place to be taking shots at Chris Brown.

Timbaland is probably wanting to shoot somebody for allowing this to happen.

How does it not relate from your view?

I don't need to listen to Waka Flocka's entire Discography to know that outside of the chorus in his some of his songs, his lyrics aren't about ****.

I don't need to listen to Chief Keef's entire Discography to know that he's not saying anything I never heard before and that his lyrics have no message(unless he's calling a bunch of 18/19 y/os "Slutty Boyz").

I don't need to listen to Mac Miller's entire discography to know that he gears his music moreso towards your age group.

I could go on and on but hopefully you get where I'm going with this. But then again, you might ignore the message and just think I'm "hating" when that's not what I'm doing at all.

Mac Miller ruins every song he's featured on, unless his verse comes at the beginning so it's easily skippable.
