Alot of rappers go on hiatuses after they release a CD(or even a mixtape) and disappear(and may do a few features) for months. He dropped a CD in June, EP in July, and now a mixtape(with Wiz) in August. He said he followed what Max B used to do. Max B use to put out alot of music.

And it's the damn truth. If someone is putting out too much music for you, you can just choose not to listen to it. But you can't listen to music that isn't there, so you have to appreciate a guy that caters to his fans.

Yeah, you gotta appreciate/respect a person who caters to his fans and has a lot of songs for them, even if you dont like their music. I rather have the person put out alot of music, than to rarely put out music. Because if unless the music is great, you are stuck with that until they decide to put out music. Alot of artists start by putting out alot music, then stop once they get well known.

With a person who doesnt put out music often, they have a smaller margin of error. Since he will only put out music once in a blue moon, you expect most of their music to be great. With a person who does put alot music, you give them passes if some of the music isnt to your liking because you know they will more music out.

There is pros and cons with putting out alot of music.

            Pros:
-Your fans are happy and anticipating.
            -Keeping your self revelant
            -shows you are dedicated/hard working.
            - get more respect from other artist

            Cons:
            - higher expectations when it comes to albums. Since you put out alot of music, if it isnt good they have recent music to listen to.
            - Might not save good tracks for albums. Alot of times a artist has mixtape/s is better than his album because they either put the good songs on the mixtapes. Alot of times it is a label issue. Some other times it is the artist trying to be more commercial and have the "radio hits" instead of doing what made him likable.
-Trying not to sound the same, but not completely different. If all your music sounds the same or has the same message, it will get boring.

I never said "* sighs*, ____ put out another mixtape. I liked the last one, but it has only been a month." It is more songs for me. Plus, I am the type who gets tired of songs after so many listens.

Don't think this has been posted already, but pretty nice freestyle from Wiz, IMO.

Kendrick Lamar Says Collaboration With Eminem Will "Definitely" Happen

Many fans got their hopes up when a rumor circulated on the Internet that Kendrick Lamar had linked up for a collaboration with Lady Gaga and Eminem. Now, in a recent interview with Montreality, K. Dot talks about the possibility of work with the Detroit legend.

Kendrick said that he actually did bump into Eminem at one point, and while their meeting was brief, he did say that Em told he that he was a fan of his music. The TDE emcee also added that while the rumored collaboration earlier today proved to be a hoax, fans can "definitely" expect to hear the two rappers on a track in the future, though not for his good kid, m.A.A.d city project.

"Yes I have met [Eminem] - it was real brief," he said. "I'm not gonna get in the studio with him [this time], but we bumped heads and he said he's a fan of my music. The fact that I'm part of the [Interscope/Aftermath] family, we'll see each other…you can definitely expect a record [from us], definitely."

Check out the full interview below.

I remember reading that Em stopped his movie to work on an album, maybe a track or two there but a whole collaboration would be interesting

Yeah, he just finished the Slaughterhouse album. So I'm guessing now he's starting work on his next album.
