        That's what I'm guessing.

I would've listened to it myself but I can't take 5 minutes of Flex playing his stupid sound effects every single time, even during interviews. **** gets annoying quick.

Well, I didn't listen to the whole thing because after a while it was hard to make out who was male and female lol....it was interesting to hear the raw emotion though...a bunch of talking over each other lol

Nickis points were: she felt disrespected, still wanted to perform, Wayne ordered her not to, says that as a guest, you shouldn't be treated like that and have the crowd turned against you...

Flex's main points was that: they should've been able to come to a resolution within that 5 hour window. He's never seen Nicki takes orders from Wayne like that, she's always acted independently. Rosenberg picked the wrong time to say what he said.

EDIT: man NY radio is the ****....I almost forgot how dope it is....

It was even better when the East Coast 'was running' hip hop -- Hot 97 and Power 99 in Philly used to be the spots. Back home I listen to the radio (normally late night as day time is starting to get boring) when I'm ridin' -- if it wasn't for me travelling around the country I may have never bought an iPod -- other areas are just garbage :cough: Washington State :cough: lol

So in summary, Flex went from "IM ENDING CAREERS!!!" to "Yo Nicki, we still cool though right?

And then you got Wayne getting upset because a ****ING DJ(not another rapper but a DJ)say that your girl's song isn't real hip hop(which he isn't lying BTW)and because of that, you take your Power Ranger Action Figures home?

There's all kinds of fail that need to be going around

The thing is, Wayne already has beef with Hot 97. So it wasn't some random pack up my bags and go home kind of thing.

He even gave Hot 97 a "special" s/o on the credits of Carter II.

The whole thing was just unprofessional from the things I've read and seen, especial the interview last night. I was embarrassed listening to it.

I thought Wayne's beef with them was squashed a while back because I remember saying before that he wasn't going to Summer Jam anymore?

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

Everyone involved came off as unprofessional.

I will say it again. Hip Hop beef is these days. Too much money involved for anyone involved to beef with each other. That goes for both radio stations and artists.

Oh, and Wayne co headlined Summer Jam with Rick Ross just last year. I don't think the station and him had any ill will toward each other. Maybe he thought the station was setting Nicki and YMCMB up to truly be dissed later on by Pusha T. So he pulled his artists just in case. Which turned out to be a bad business move. Now everyone is copping pleas to correct the situation.

With how wack Starship is to me (there is still a market for it) dude shouldn't have singled her out like that. If anything he could have picked any song of LMAO, Black Eye Peas, Pit Bull, Flo Rida, etc... Don't pick an artist's song who's on your card. Smh.

And Kendrick Lamar's music speak for itself, you don't have to throw dirt on a genre to promote dude..
