It looks like it's free to the first 1 million Galaxy S3, S4 and Note 2 users who download the app on June 24th. They get to download the album at 12:01 on July 4th, and then the album officially goes on sale to everybody else 72 hours later (meaning it releases on a Sunday?)

Pretty awesome way to release an album IMO. I like how artists are coming up with ways to avoid leaks.

EDIT: Samsung paid $5 per album, meaning Jay already puts $5 million in the bank off of this album.

How much money you want to bet that this leaks out before the end of the month? LOL

Kinda figured he was releasing something since all these pictures of him with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Swizz, Nas, etc have coming out public like crazy in comparison to before.

Ok so I've listened to Yeezus once over now. By far my favorite song on it is 'Hold my liquor'. Just love the bass, beat and feel of that song. Other than than I'm not really "feeling" any other songs, other than parts of songs here and there. Others might grow on me with a few more listens, but right now it's a fairly underwhelming album.

Much like MDTF, it's going to take a couple of listens to really gather an opinion on Yeezus..

But right off the gate, you get the sense that Ye is "trying to be different" instead of naturally "being different" like he has always been. Off gate I love the production though, always been a fan of bare/stripped down beats...

Jay Z's next album is already platinum. Thanks Samsung!

But yeah another listen of Kanye's album, I can hear sounds from his previous albums with some of the samples, but then it just goes haywire, random sounds, random grunts, lack of quality lyrics. It has to be his worst album.

I was on team 808 and heartbreak but this is waay out there. Kanye Kardashian lost his mind with this one.

I too really like 808s and Heartbreaks, but I agree, this has got to be his worst album so far.

Reading many defenders of Kanye's newest work calling it progressive, genre pushing, and such. I've also seen those who dislike the album called closed minded.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see what's so groundbreaking or genre pushing about the album. Kanye did nothing more than borrow from others styles and other sub-genres (badly executed BTW). Just a poor effort when you consider all the talent people who had a hand in making the album.

I guess if all you listen to is hip hop you'd feel the sound of the album is more than it really is.

Oh, and y'all already know how I feel about the GOAT putting out a new album. Felt like T.I. in the Blurred Lines Video when I heard the word album said during Samsung's halftime commercial.

Only negative was no Just Blaze in that room full of producers. It's been over 10 years since these two blessed us with the magic they create together. Bull****.

Drake is going on a 41 city tour with Miguel and Future starting September 25th.

He's coming to Winnipeg October 3rd.
