As for my conflicting concert dates - I am good to go! Tyler altered his dates around Q's! So I get to go to both with no problems and much more ease.

Bit late but I got to see Earl Sweatshirt and Run the Jewels live last weekend when they were here in Sydney for Laneway Festival. Two awesome sets, Earl's was so hectic that I almost sprained my ankle Luckily just turned it a bit and have now fully recovered. Also saw a bit of Danny Brown at the same festival but he clashed with another band I was keen to see, so only from way back in the pit.

Just two weeks till I get to see Eminem/Kendrick Lamar/J. Cole/Action Bronson live all on the same stage!!!

As for the song that got me into hip-hop, at high school a friend introduced me to Cypress Hill's "Temple of Boom" and I fell in love with Illusions from its opening line haha

I watched the Beats, Rhymes, and Life documentary again a couple days ago and since then, I've been listening to nothing but A Tribe Called Quest and Q-Tip solo stuff.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

LOL at least I actually stay loyal to my team. The Lakers could go 17-65, I'd still be a fan. Let me guess, you're a Heat fan? No? Pacers? Thunder?

I understand wanting songs which are just "bangers" to use in the gym or just to pump you up. I know some of my playlist fills that role. But surely they should at least have somewhat audible lyrics, right? You can't understand a word this clown says. He just mumbles his way through the song. And even if you can understand his speech, surely such a song would need to be motivational, aggressive in it's lyrics and flow? Not randomly mumbling the same words for half the song (had to go to a lyric video to understand what the hell he was saying) "Don't want war, ***** boy don't want war".

Waste of a decent beat. A 12 year old could've wrote better lyrics to complement it.

Or should I say, College Dropout Kanye feels like forever ago.

Back then, I was as big a stan for Kanye as BlueNGold is for Cole and now, I can't stand his ***.
