At least not most of it. But at the same time, I feel like if you're rapping with laid back style, it's going to be difficult to convince people that you aren't boring. I'd probably guys like Joey BadA$$ and Smoke DZA(using them as examples)in that same category.

Agree with DieHard regarding Macklemore though.
I brought him up because his fans love to say that his music is laid back and/or for people who smoke when in reality it's just boring but Isaiah Rashad has made music that is laid back and mellow without being boring.

His music is laid back, much like Rashad's is as well. But I'm not gonna act like he hasn't put out a few boring tracks of his own.

I don't even there's much difference between the two other than the fact that one has a bigger fanbase, which means they're going to gas up Curren$y to the moon, as if he puts out flawless tracks.

Curren$y has also dropped a ****-ton more tracks than Isaiah. I'm really enjoying Cilvia but I think you might get some "boring" tracks if Isaiah was dropping 3 projects a year.

Surprised BNG hasn't posted a link yet. Or maybe he did and I missed it. J. Cole put a copy of a new mixtape on every seat at his MSG Theater show last night. I know we have a few Cole fans here so I'll post a link for those unaware.

I didn't even know about it until I got to work last night. Listened to about half of it there and about to listen to the rest. Love what I've heard so far though. Definitely a nice surprise.

Pretty cool that both TDE and now Dreamville are both partnered with Interscope as well.

I was thinking about this last night after I noticed one of the girls at work has seemingly just found out about 2Pac's music. What's the song that got you into listening to rap?

This is mine, back from when I was in about grade 5 or 6 lol. I still remember listening to it 42 straight times just learning every word. Not long after that I was burning a CD full of every Pac song I could find for my ****ty little Sony discman to listen to on the school bus to one of our field trips.
