Thanks for the link. The one I found has been going for 20 minutes and only half way through.

finished the whole mixtape. I might be bias but I like it just as much as Kanye's album, wish there weren't so many old tracks, in the morning, villematic, back to the topic, before i'm gone are the only one's that fit with the rest

blow up, higher, and premeditated murder seem like they were just thrown in there

If I hadn't already heard half of the songs on there already, I'd give it a 9-9.5 and I'd put this album up there with Late Registration, which I think is Kanye's best album.
Guess I need to definitely take a listen to it then. I feel the same way with Late Registration being his best.

idk that's a good question. The Warm Up was my first impression of J. Cole so it had the shock and awe factor to it, however this was a really good mixtape.

I couldn't tell you now, I'm still listening to the warm up to this day. I think the production is better but I couldn't give you an honest answer now.

            what about you?

Believe it or not, I've been sleeping on J. Cole to this point. I heard him on "Star is Born", but never sought him out. I'm not really a mixtape or radio guy (Mood Music and Bar Exam being exceptions). I just get albums when they drop . I did the same with CuDi (who I immediately loved when his album dropped) and Drake (who's popularity I don't get, but his production is phenomenal). I'm going to have to get these mixtapes because a lot of you vouch for this guy.

Love the new Kanye as well (a solid 8.5). The new J Cole is sweet also. A good weekend for hip hop heads!!!

                    J. Cole interview with DJ Semtex:

He says the album might be coming out in March, but he seems unsure. Imagine Lupe and J. Cole in the same month.

As for the mixtape, I made it up to track 15 but didn't get to finish. Not surprising that it's good ****, but it isn't better than The Warm Up IMO. That's a tough task to try to top that. I just think the production was better and it was more of a complete package than FNL.

Also, Jay Electronica signed to Roc Nation. Diddy doesn't seem too pleased with this, lol.

And here's Chain Heavy. It's a G.O.O.D. Friday track, but it's also an iTunes bonus for MBDTF:

3/4 of the way through the J.Cole and it's mostly extremely dope. He's definitely worked his way into my top 10 at this point

                              J. Cole's latest mixtape was decent but I wasn't amazed or blown away by it really. It gets a 7.5 from me but that's moreso because there wasn't really a track that stuck out to me like there were on The Warm Up.
