Yeah, he was a producer first, and most told him to stick to that because no one wanted to hear him rap.Comment

I normally don't like to spam, but would appreciate some OS support for me and my close friends project we just completed. Share, listen, download, whatever you gotta do.
We put our heart and soul into these next two projects. Would love to see that people are enjoying it as much as we did putting it together.
Very Frank Ocean/James Fauntleroy-esque feel.Comment

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
My excursion into 80's and 90's hip hop continues. Been listening to more of the gangsta rap genre for the past few days, which has brought me to Ice Cube. I know these songs are all super old news for all of you, but it's fun to get into a new genre and discover some of this great music instead of listening to the same old songs in my iTunes library, haha.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
So I cracked and listened to Born Sinner tonight. I'm sure this is the stan coming out of me but after the first listen there's a 7 letter word on my mind to describe the album and it begins and starts with a C.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

LOVE THE ALBUM! I'm glad that I preordered it! I'm feeling the whole album, but from track 9 on....WHEW.

But yeah, after a few more listens the album is OK. Better than what I thought of it on Friday so right now it's an OK/decent album.#RespectTheCultureComment

Pack is probably more Jeezy and/or Devin The Dude.
Lil B obviously goes to Fly and LetThatBoyCook. Fly gets Keef as well.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
I'm not even a Curren$y stan(And I know you don't mean this negatively either). Hell, it wasn't until about a year ago that I started even listening to the dude because I thought he was another one that was getting overrated on here.
I appreciate his music because it's all been consistently good(at least since I've been listening to him). But I'm not to the point where I'll defend him every single time which is what I used to do for J.Cole actually, lol.#RespectTheCultureComment

You can just mark me down for Eminem lol, I just don't defend him since there's not much to defend lately.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

"Let Nas Down" is officially my favorite song right now. Production is nuts and Cole's lyrics is top notch on this track.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Fool me three times, **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.
