^ I only went through it once so far so I haven't formed an opinion either way yet, but from a glance it seems like a decent enough album.

I'm with ya much like 808's and Heartbreak's I'm in the minority on Kanye's more crazy albums lol.

I just said "this isn't a hip hop album" and I found myself enjoying it.

One of the two songs I actually like. I forget the name of the other one.

I downloaded it and I'm still picking it up. I know a lot of people would probably have a "What's the point?" mentality in that situation but if someone has an album I enjoy I'll buy it even if, technically, I already have it. Plus I like having CDs.

Jay-Z is coming with a new album July 4th apparently, to Samsung users at least.

The people who say that Yeezus is "alternative" or think that it's some radical departure from hip hop must exclusively listen to Billboard Top 40.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Yeezus is pretty good imo. Favorites so far are Bound 2, Blood on the leaves, Black skinhead, and send it up

For the people I hang out with this is alternative so that really colors how I describe things most times. I hang around a bunch of people who'd tell me to turn off great albums like R.A.P. Music. Cuz it sounds like a bunch of "noise" lol

                            Hovvvvvvv!!

Everyone thought he was just releasing a new song on the 4th, but an album? Niiiiice [/Fabolous]

It looks like it's free to the first 1 million Galaxy S3, S4 and Note 2 users who download the app on June 24th. They get to download the album at 12:01 on July 4th, and then the album officially goes on sale to everybody else 72 hours later (meaning it releases on a Sunday?)

Pretty awesome way to release an album IMO. I like how artists are coming up with ways to avoid leaks.

EDIT: Samsung paid $5 per album, meaning Jay already puts $5 million in the bank off of this album.

Nothing to my knowledge. Just that he severed ties (and was even beefing briefly) with SpaceGhostPurp after his mixtape. Hence the maybe he was on to something part of the post.
