Did they catch Daphne? They didn't show that they did. I was also wondering who flew out of the hole. Like Kashanova said, Peter needs to stop hugging people and start kicking some tail.

Wonder why HRG is helping them? I know he has an "anything to help Claire" policy, but Nathan has that as well, too. Maybe they have a deal. HRG gives all the info he has from the Company, and Nathan promises Claire's protection.

This show just seems to be running place, as if there's no direction. Now we have innocent, trusting Peter (the hug!), Claire hating her dad/HRG...AGAIN!, HRG being a bad guy though isn't this supposed to be the future where he helps those with abilities from the first season?

I'm really getting frustrated at the lack of progress and evolution in the characters. I mean, why keep Hiro if he has no powers? His "aw shucks...I must be a hero" crap was bad when he could time travel, and now he's Robin to Ando, the guy with the worst power on the show?

Also, why didn't Peter fly out the back of the plane?

I'm guessing they're going to make it that Peter can only be linked to one person's powers at a time. Since Sylar has multiple abilities, I'd guess Peter will be able to absorb all of Sylar's abilities. Which allows them to have their major showdown.

Solid start and it was entertaining, but episode 1 of Volume 3 was great and 75% of the season was a big disappointment. So I'm just cautiously optimistic. Kring still has plenty of time to screw things up like he always does.

my theory on Peter at the end of last volume was he got HIS power back. He didnt get all the powers he absorbed, but he can absorb them again. Nathan asking him "what can you do now-a-days" before the strike team takes him down kinda proves that.

Also, how the hell did they develop something in 2-3 months that can block powers?

Overall, loved it, and it sets up big expectations for this volume.

When did they develop that? I figured that bald dude with the sunken eyes has an ability and that's why Niki/Tracy/"should have ****ing died" couldn't freeze him. They sure has hell couldn't stop Sylar if they had a "power nullifying" tool.

Unless you're talking about the taser that would shock the nervous system and brain waves, and in regard to when they were all loaded on the plane, I assume they were just drugged into a semi-conscious state.

the bald dude wasn't the one she tried to freeze.

Yeah, I definitely think Peter can have more than one power at a time...but I think the catch is he has to touch them from now on, just as his father did. I think we saw his father's power transfer into him at the end of Volume 3.

They could've just had freeze-resistant clothing on, which I don't doubt they could easily develop in 2 to 3 months.

See, that's what I thought, but if Peter can have more than 1 power at a time, shouldn't he still have had Mohinder's strength when he was getting beat by the guard? Perhaps he just has to re-learn how to control his powers?

Either A) He can't fight and couldn't rear back for a solid haymaker, or B) We are back to Season 1 with the whole "master his powers" crap.

Yeah good point. I was just assuming that since Mohinder was beating fools with car doors, that fighting a regular guy wouldn't be a problem, but I guess he could have just been caught off guard.

Or, then again, maybe the whole 1 power at a time theory is correct, since we've only seen him use the most recent power he's gotten at the time (as far as I can remember).
